RPAC Girls Basketball Results as of 3/8
The girls basketball season came to a close this past weekend. There were three RPAC teams competing at the state tournament: Maywood-Hayes Center and Arapahoe in Class D1 and Dundy County Stratton in D2. Mission Accomplished: Dundy County Stratton Earns Their First-Ever Girls State Basketball Championship
On Saturday, March 7th, 2026, the #1 seed in Class D2, Dundy County Stratton, faced the #6 seed, Wynot, at Pinnacle Bank Arena. The teams were battling for the NSAA State Championship. Dundy County Stratton was looking to clinch its first state championship title, having finished runner-up in 2015, 2017, and 2019. Tigers Headed For Class D2 State Championship
On Friday, March 6th, 2026, the #1 in Class D2 played #5 Archangels Catholic in the NSAA Girls State Basketball Semifinals. This matchup was played in the Bob Devaney Sports Center. The Tigers came away victorious, winning big, 45-25 to head to the Class D2 NSAA Girls State Basketball Championship Game. Scoring was hard to come by in the first quarter, but the Tigers led 8-4 heading to the second period. DCS forced turnovers, got some easy layups, and their defense was tough.


Arapahoe and MHC Both End Seasons In D1 Quarterfinals
In Class D1, #8 Arapahoe and #3 Maywood-Hayes Center were in action on Thursday, March 5th, at the NSAA Girls State Basketball Championships in Lincoln. Arapahoe started the day at Pinnacle Bank Arena, and Maywood-Hayes Center finished the day at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. We will start with the Warriors game first.
