On Thursday, August 27, 2026, we had our first coverage for the volleyball season. It featured a matchup between Wauneta-Palisade and Hitchcock County. In the first set, Wauneta-Palisade jumped out to a 12-4 lead. But Hitchcock County was able to climb back into it and get it within five at 15 to 10.
