This spotlight series features the Southern Valley Wrestling Team. They have a young, but eager squad. They are under the direction of Head Coach Dexter Becker who was a graduate of Southern Valley. Becker has seen quite a bit of success in his young career of only six seasons.
Becker has the opportunity to coach alongside his dad, Dave Becker, which is a unique opportunity that he doesn't take for granted.
We also visit with a handful of his wrestlers including Gabe Grove, Colby Noel, Braxton Hammond, and their one female wrestler, Haley Serfontein.
We got to catch the Eagles dual versus Holdrege in their auditorium and what a fun and unique environment that was.
