11 RPAC Teams Compete at Toasty Arapahoe Invite on Thursday


It was a warm afternoon in Arapahoe with a slight breeze and stiff competition on the cross country course. 11 RPAC teams were in attendance at the Arapahoe Invite this afternoon. Ashley Robertson of Wallace took the girls race and Kael Garrett of Medicine Valley took the boys race. Let's jump into the full results.

Barrett Zikmund also ran and missed a medal by one spot with a 16th-place finish and a time of 21:27.84.


Arapahoe

Other runners for Arapahoe included Lael Rathbun who finished 19th with a time of 21:38.09, Thomas Magorian who finished 25th with a time of 22:35.63, and Eli Carpenter who finished 27th with a time of 22:41.00.


Cambridge

Braden Sandfort finished 18th with a time of 21:36.64, Henry Shoemaker finished 20th with a time of 21:39.20, Jaysek Weiss finished 34th with a time of 23:42.19, and Carter Shoemaker finished 40th with a time of 25:47.20.


Hi-Line

Finn Kerznar finished 28th with a time of 23:00.39 and Beau Kerznar finished 48th with a time of 32:05.00.


Maxwell

Gavin Degarmo finished 37th with a time of 24:57.49.


Maywood-Hayes Center

Steven Werkmeister finished 44th with a time of 28:03.53 and Emmanuel Lopez finished 51st with a time of 36:49.18.


Medicine Valley

Shya Gudaitis finished 30th with a time of 23:29.53 and Adin Nelsen finished 45th with a time of 28:14.82.


Paxton

Chase Holm finished 31st with a time of 23:31.84, Jasper Brewster finished 35th with a time of 24:09.46, Kepler Spurgin finished 38th with a time of 25:02.78, and Preston Runge finished 42nd with a time of 26:19.47.


Southwest

Caleb Heskett finished 33rd with a time of 23:41.16 and Shie King finished 47th with a time of 30:00.08.

Cambridge

Kylie Koeppen finished 23rd with a time of 27:17.81, Katie Fegley finished 31st with a time of 29:02.76, and Jensyn Weiss finished 34th with a time of 29:33.40.


Hi-Line

Kara Brockman finished 25th with a time of 27:41.90.


Maxwell

LaChelle Benitez finished 19th with a time of 26:35.94 and Emme Lucas finished 27th with a time of 28:18.39.


Maywood-Hayes Center

Charlotte Broker finished 17th with a time of 26:20.27, Kesli Cox finished 28th with a time of 28:24.91, and Adrianna Estrada finished 38th with a time of 33:23.46.


Paxton

Tayley Becker just missed the medals as she finished 16th with a time of 26:15.51and Jazemine Lujan finished 40th with a time of 35:18.69.

Alma will be in action again on Tuesday at the Franklin Invite and Paxton will be at Ogallala on Thursday.


Maywood-Hayes Center will host their meet on Thursday and Cambridge, Hi-Line, Medicine Valley, Southern Valley, Southwest, and Wallace will attend.
