14 Varsity Squads Compete at the Alma Golf Invite

Alma hosted their yearly golf invite with a total of 14 varsity teams, seven of which were RPAC teams. We saw several solid scores as players are getting more into the midseason groove of golf.

Hi-Line


The Bulls came away with 3rd, a 349. Hudson Weeder nabbed the 7th place medal with an 85, Gavin Tilson shot an 87 and took 11th, and Zach Whittaker shot an 88 and took 15th. Parker Schutz shot an 89 and finished 17th, and Karter Tilson shot a 96 and finished 34th.


Alma


The Cardinals took home 4th with a 354. William VanBoening shot an 82 and finished 5th. Crew Bennett shot a 90 and finished 18th, Titus Epp a 19th-place finish with a 90, and Mason Gesick and Grady Faimon shot 92 for 25th and 26th place.

Cambridge


The Trojans shot a 358 and finished 5th. Micah Gerlach shot an 85 and took 8th and Maverick Webb shot an 87 and took home 12th. Graham Shoemaker shot a 92 and placed 24th. Tayten Koeppen took 29th with a 94. Carter Shoemaker shot a 105 and finished 44th.


Southern Valley


The Eagles broke through and shot a 388, finishing 6th. Tylor Grove took 10th with an 87. Xander Sherwood shot a 97 and finished 35th. Jace Hammond shot a. 97 and finished 36th, Jacob Rice shot a 107 and finished 46th, and Chase Hamilton shot a 120 and finished 61st.





Arapahoe


The Warriors shot a 403 and finished 9th. Briggs Hill finished 32nd with a 95, Chris Hermes finished 33rd with a 96, AJ Roush took 38th with a 101, Taydem Zodrow shot 11 with a 54th place finish, and Brew Hermes finished 55th with a 114.





Medicine Valley


The Raiders finished 10th and shot a 416. Tyce Pate was just outside of medaling with an 88 and finished 16th. Brody Senff finished 43rd with a 104. Kaleb Einspahr finished 51st with a 110, Kevin Bantam finished 56th with a 114, and Tyler Bantam took 63rd with a 121.


Bertrand


The Vikings finished 11th with 419. Quentin Mumm took home the 13th-place medal with an 88. Ryker Schroder shot a 98 and finished 37th, August Nelson shot a 114 and took 57th, Drake Olesen finished 60th with a 119, and Payton Way finished 64th with a 121.
