41st CSO All-Star Games Played on Friday Night

On Friday, May 29th, 2026, the 41st annual CSO All-Star Games were played in Cambridge.

Early in the girls' game, it was a competitive battle. Team Randy Carpenter had a 7-4 lead halfway through the first. They maintained that lead, and at the end of the period it was 16-12.

At the 8:18 mark in the second quarter, Team Bob Tomlin tied things up at 18-18. Team Tomlin took the lead heading into halftime, 29-27. In the third period, Team Tomlin applied a press and created some easy buckets. They led 48-38 heading to the final quarter. Team Randy Carpenter made a push in the fourth quarter and made it 48-43 with 5:08 to go. With about 3:30 to go, they trimmed the deficit to 50-48. Team Tomlin was able to close out the game with some free-throw shooting and big shots to win 58-49.
MVPs from the Game
For Team Tomlin, Gracen Hughes of Overton had nine points, and Clara Spargo of DCS recorded eight points. For Team Carpenter, Hitchcock County's Asia Homma had 10 points and Kamryn Butterlfield of Hershey had 14 points.

In the boys' game, it was Team Del Schoenfish versus Team Larry Pritchett. It was a fast-paced matchup, and halfway through the first, Team Pritchett led 11-9. Team Pritchett maintained that lead for the remainder of the period, leading 21-17 heading to the second.
Team Schoenfish made a run and led with 5:00 to go in the half, 26-25. Team Pritchett countered with a run of their own, up 34-30 with under two minutes to go in the first half. Team Pritchett took the lead to the intermission, 37-30.

In the third quarter, Team Schoenfish came out firing and tied things up at 37-37. Team Schoenfish led heading to the fourth quarter, 58-56.
In the fourth, Team Schoenfish went on a run and led 70-59 with 7:09 remaining. Team Pritchett kept hanging around, though, trailing 79-72 with 2:24 to go in the final period. Team Schoenfish did enough to hang on for an 87-82 win.
MVPs from the Game
For Team Schoenfish, Zavier Mitchell of Alma had 23 points, Chayden Hoffmaster of Cozad had 17 points, and Cambridge's Brady Ahlemeyer had 14. For Team Pritchett, Cozad's Oliver Davis had 24 points, and Alma's Tucker Biskup had 12 points.
