Alma Takes Home the Team Title at the Arapahoe Invite

On Tuesday, April 14th, Arapahoe hosted its annual golf invite. In total, 12 teams were in attendance to compete, including 10 RPAC Teams. The temperatures were favorable, but the winds were strong and played a factor for the athletes. Let's check out the results.

Alma


The Cardinals had an excellent day on the course. They shot a 323 as a team and had four medalists. William VanBoening had a great day with a 76 and finishing 3rd. We chatted with William after his solid day.

Mason Gesick played well, shooting an 81 and placing 8th, Crew Bennett had a nice day with an 82, and Titus Epp played a strong round with an 84 and a 14th place finish. Grady Faimon played well too, a 90, and finished 22nd.



Cambridge


As a team, Cambridge finished 2nd with a score of 326. Micah Gerlach took 4th place with a 77 and played well on the day. Graham Shoemaker had a breakout performance, shooting an 80 and finished 5th. Hodge Raburn was solid too, finishing 10th with an 82. Carter Shoemaker and Maverick Webb had nice days too, finishing 19th and 21st with an 87 and 89 each.


Southwest


Southwest took home 3rd place as a team, shooting a 343. Houston Billeter again had a big day, this time shooting a 73 and placing 2nd. Dylan Cornwell took home a medal, 15th place, and shot an 85. Brett Blume finished 23rd with a 91. Jaxton Payton shot a 94 and finished 26th. Jace Jensen shot a 122 and finished 51st.


Southern Valley


The Eagles finished in 5th as a team with a 349. Xander Sherwood played excellently with a 6th place finish and an 81. Kelby Ludeke took 20th with an 88. Jace Hammond finished 25th, shooting a 92. Johnny Eakins finished 49th with a 116.


Hi-Line


Hi-Line finished 6th as a team with a 369. Karter Tilson took home a medal in shooting an 83 and finished 12th. Hunter Kugler finished 18th with a solid score of 87. Carson Saunders finished 33rd with a 98. Bladen Williams finished 39th with a 101. Mason Schwarx placed 47th with a 110.


Bertrand


The Vikings finished 7th with a 371. Scott Bieker finished 9th with an 82, another strong performance from Bieker. Payton Way just missed out on medaling with an 85 and 17th place. Dylan Hock finished 35th with a 99. Hunter Nelson finished 43rd and shot a 105. Jyden Wilkens finished 44th with a 106.


Arapahoe


Arapahoe finished 8th with a 375. All four golfers finished under 100. Briggs Hill scored well, just missing out on medaling with an 85. Drew Hermes shot a 95 and finished 27th. AJ Roush shot a 97 and finished 31st. Taydem Zodrow finished 32nd with a 98.


Medicine Valley


Medicine Valley finished 9th with a 407. Lucas Einspahr finished 31st with a 97. Tyler Bantam shot a 100 and finished 38th. Ethan Brown finished 42nd, shooting a 103. Alex Einspahr took 45th with a 107.


Maywood-Hayes Center


Maywood-Hayes Center finished 10th with a 410. Oliver Anders broke 100 with a 99 and took 34th. Landen Littrel shot 100 and finished 37th. Cooper Soundy shot a 102 and finished 40th.


Hitchcock County


The Falcons finished 11th with a 481. Tristan Keith finished 41st with a 103. Cole Block shot a 111 and finished 48th. Aubrey Melchert took 50th with a 122. Katelyn Cook shot a 145 and finished 53rd.
