Alma Wins Home Invite, Four Cardinals Medal

Talk about a perfect day for golf. That's what Alma had for their invite on Tuesday, April 21st, 2026. There were a number of outstanding scores, and the Cardinals took home the team title, four medalists, including the 1st and 2nd place scorers. Let's dive into the results.

The Cardinals had a big day, shooting a 328, winning by 33 strokes. Grady Faimon took 1st with a 75, and Crew Bennett finished with a 78 and took 2nd. We chatted with Faimon and Bennett after their successful outings.

Titus Epp shot an 85 and placed 12th, and William VanBoening took 13th with an 88. Mason Gesick finished 30th with a 96. And for the Alma JV, they took 3rd with a 367, including an 8th place finish from Parker Seyler, an 85. Along with that, Dylan Line was just outside of placing with a 90 and 18th place finish.

Cambridge
The Trojans had another solid outing, a 361, and finished 2nd. Micah Gerlach took 4th with an 80, and Carter Shoemaker finished 9th with an 86. Graham Shoemaker shot a 96 and finished 31st. Hodge Raburn shot a 99 and finished 41st.
Southern Valley
The Eagles finished 4th with a 373. Kelby Ludeke finished 17th with an 89, Jace Hammond finished 20th with a 90, Xander Sherwood finished 29th with a 95, and Jacob Rice a 99 and finished 42nd.
Hi-Line
Hi-Line finished 5th with a 374. Karter Tilson just missed out on medaling with an 89 and 16th-place finish. Hunter Kugler shot a 90 and finished 19th, Mason Schwarz took 36th with a 97, Carson Saunders a 38th place finish and a 98, and Bladen Williams took 69th with a 118.
Bertrand
The Vikings finished 7th with a 380. Scott Bieker took home 5th place and shot an 81. Payton Way snagged a medal too, taking 14th and shooting an 89. Ryker Schroder shot a 94 and finished 25th. Chris Hock finished 67th with a 116.
Arapahoe
The Warriors shot a 392 and finished 10th. Two Warriors took home medals as Briggs Hill placed 7th with an 85 and AJ Roush placed 11th with an 86. Taydem Zodrow shot a 105 and finished 52nd, and Ryder Dyer placed 66th with a 116.
Medicine Valley
The Raiders finished 14th with a 407. Lucas Einspahr had a PR with a 92 and finished 23rd. Alex Einspahy shot a 100 and finished 43rd, Ethan BRown finished 57th with a 107, and Tyler Bantam shot a 59 with a 108.
