Wow, did the wind blow in some great performances on Wednesday at Arapahoe during the Jim Mather Invite. Six RPAC teams attended this invite. Check out the results from the day below!

In high jump, Weiss of Cambridge placed 3rd with a jump of 5'0", and McQuiston of Southern Valley and Schutz of Hi-Line tied for 7th with jumps of 4'8", which was a personal best for Schutz.



In pole vault, Philips of Bertrand placed 2nd with a vault of 8'6", Sand of Bertrand placed 3rd with a vault of 8'6", Salberg of Cambridge placed 5th with a vault of 8'6", Taytum Roskop of Arapahoe placed 6th with a vault of 8'0", Santifer of Southern Valley placed 7th with a vault of 8'0", and Becker of Southern Valley and Gooden of Arapahoe finished in a 3-way tie for 8th wuth vaults of 7'6", which was a personal best for Gooden.


In long jump, Stubbs of Hi-Line placed 6th with a jump of 15'0", and B. Kubert of Hi-Line placed 8th with a jump of 14'11".


In triple jump, B. Holtze of Cambridge placed 1st with a jump of 33'4.5", W. Wall of Hi-Line placed 5th with a jump of 32'2", Philips of Bertrand placed 7th with a personal best jump of 31'8", and J. Holtze of Cambridge placed 8th with a jump of 31'4".

In discus, Downey of Arapahoe placed 3rd with a throw of 123'0", Kaden Klumpe of Cambridge placed 7th with a throw of 112'10", and Jaysek Weiss of Cambridge placed 8th with a throw of 112'4".



In high jump, Dicke of Alma placed 1st with a jump of 6'0", Cochrane of Hi-Line placed 4th with a jump of 5'10", Hamilton of Southern Valley placed 6th with a jump of 5'6", and Dylan Webster of Alma tied for 7th with a personal best jump of 5'6".


In pole vault, Knackstedt of Hi-Line had a really good look at 15'0", but couldn't quite get the bar to stay. Check it out!



Knackstedt took 1st with a vault of 14'0", which tied the meet record; Hernadez of Bertrand placed 2nd with a vault of 13'6", Klumpe of Cambridge placed 5th with a vault of 12'6", Hayden Lans placed 6th with a vault of 12'0", West Bennett of Alma placed 7th with a vault of 11'6", and Rodriguez of Bertrand placed 8th with a vault of 10'6".

In the long jump, Mitchell of Alma placed 1st with a jump of 22'6", which set a new meet record, which was previously set in 1951 with a mark of 22’5.75” held by Hoppy McCue. Biskup of Alma placed 2nd with a personal best jump of 21'9.25", and Gage Rupp of Hi-Line placed 8th with a jump of 18'4.5".


In triple jump, Biskup of Alma placed 1st with a jump of 42'11", Gentry Clark of Alma placed 5th with a jump of 38'5.5", Diefenbaugh of Hi-Line placed 6th with a jump of 38'1.5", and Hunt of Southern Valley placed 7th with a jump of 36'0.5".

According to the school's calendars, Hi-Line and Southern Valley will be back on the track on Friday at the Don Bader Invite in Lexington. Bertrand will be in action again when they host their rescheduled Jerry Stine Invite on Monday, April 27th. Alma, Arapahoe, and Cambridge are off until the RPAC Track Meet on May 1st, which will be held in Cambridge.
