Bertrand and Paxton Repeat as RPAC One-Act Champions

The Tassel in Holdrege was the site of the RPAC One-Act Contest on Thursday, eight plays from the East and seven plays from the West were performed. Acting awards were given to each school, as well as RPAC Runner-Up and Champion plaques. Outstanding Actor awards were given, as well as Outstanding Technical Crew. East Results

Team Results:

Outstanding Actors for the East went to Lauren Moore of Arapahoe and Christian Maurer of Eustis-Farnam.

Alma

Alma performed "Tips More Than Appreciated" by Elizabeth Jiede.



Acting awards went to Kamri Neal, Lydia Sikes, and Zane Clark.


Arapahoe


Arapahoe performed "My Brother's Gift" by Claudia Haas.



Acting awards went to Lauren Moore, Elena Lee, Hunter Jorschumb, and Thomas Magorian.


Bertrand


Bertrand performed "The Silver Screen" by Christy Frederickson.



Acting awards went to Kevin Chavez, Jyden Wilkins, Ashlynn Edgren, Isaac Hernandez, Addie Andersen, Ryker Schroeder, Alyvia Rabe, and Sofia Escobar Guajardo.


Cambridge


Cambridge performed "Scenes from Romeo & Juliet (Sort of ... Almost)" by John Shanahan.



Acting awards went to Mallory Springer, Elisabeth Kubik, Colton Gross, Henry Shoemaker, and Micah Gerlach.


Elwood


Elwood performed "In the Forests of the Night" by Del Martin.



Acting awards went to Lauren Cunningham, Kara Brockman, Kylee Kubert, Adrianna Seberger, and Jaiden Udstrand.


Eustis-Farnam


Eustis-Farnam performed "Everyman in the Circus of Life" by Travis Tyre.



Acting awards went to Whitney Page, Kyson Dean, Maddie Tryon, Christian Maurer, Gage Rupp, and Haley Morain.


Southern Valley


Southern Valley performed "Get Smart" by Christoper Segel.



Acting awards went to Bennett Jorgensen, Tori Bose, Mikah Schultz, and Adrian Robinson.


Southwest


Southwest performed "Cheating Death" by Kamron Klitgaard.



Acting awards went to Anikka Nelms, Adeasha Escobar Salas, and Ellyana Walkington Reeder.

Hayes Center performed "Burglers, Burglers, and Neighborhood Theives" by Daniel Munson.

Maxwell


Maxwell performed "Under the Stars of Rosebriar Academy" by Gertrude Lawrence.

Maywood


Maywood performed "... And Others" by Dennis Bush.

Paxton

Sutherland


Sutherland performed "Miss Beth" by N. K. Weiss.

Wallace


Wallace performed "The Wishing Well" by Heather Heimes.



Acting awards went to Rally Ketteler, Brizeyda Vazquez, Lydia Friesen, and Bradley Hanson.


Wauneta-Palisade


Wauneta-Palisade performed "Miss Polly's Institute for Criminally Damaged Young Ladies Puts on a Show" by Don Zolidis.



Acting awards went to Lillian Dinnel, Emma Acton, Gregory Littrel, and Molly Yearous.




Districts are right around the corner, and we will break down the district assignments.


In the C2-5 District, Maxwell will host it on December 5th at North Platte Community College on the McDonald-Belton Campus. Start time is set for 9:00 AM CT. Southern Valley and Arapahoe are also in that district.


In the D1-2 District, Cambridge is hosting at the Tassel in Holdrge on December 3rd. Start time is set for 8:30 AM CT.


In the D1-5 District, Wilcox-Hildreth is hosting on December 1st with a start time of 9:00 AM CT. Bertrand, Hitchcock County, and Southwest are also in that district.


In the D1-6 District, Ansley is hosting on December 3rd with a start time of 9:30 AM CT. Maywood, Paxton, Sutherland, and Wauneta-Palisade are in that district.


In the D2-4 District, Gothenburg is hosting on December 3rd with a start time of 9:30 AM CT. Elwood, Eustis-Farnam, Hayes Center, and Wallace are in that district.
