Bulls, Trojans, and Roughriders Compete at Cambridge Invite Thursday Afternoon - Cambridge's Hailey Evans Takes First Place, Roughriders Tie for First as a Team

Cambridge hosted its annual Girls Golf Invite on a warm Thursday afternoon. This was a nine hole competition with Cambridge, Hi-Line, Southwest, Holdrege, and North Platte St. Pat's in attendance. What a day it was for Cambridge's Hailey Evans as she took the individual title with a 46. And for Southwest, they tied for first as a team.

Team Results
Cambridge
Hailey Evans was the lone Trojan golfer competing today. She had an awesome start to the season with a 46 and took home first place. She played really well in the opening meet of the season.
Hi-Line
Hi-Line had a solid outing from its varsity golfers. Aniston Peterson shot a 58 and took 8th place, Maddie Kugler shot a 60 and finished 10th, Maria Flores shot a 64 and finished 13th, and Chandy Masten shot an 85 and took 17th.
Southwest
The Roughriders had a nice outing too, with Mady Tryon finishing 2nd with a 51, Abby Sedlacek taking 4th with a 54, Ella Cure finishing 6th with a 56, and Rylan Custard finishing 14th with a 69.
