Five RPAC Squads Compete at the Bertrand Invite

It was a gusty, and we mean gusty day for the Bertrand Golf Invite. To accompany that, the golfers battled some tough pin placements at Hi-Line Golf Course. There was a pretty strong field of golfers, too. Five RPAC teams competed this year at the meet. Let’s dive into the results.

Alma


For Alma, they finished fourth as a team with a 345. William VanBoening took 6th with an 81. Crew Bennett shot an 86 and finished 13th. Mason Gesick shot an 88 and took 15th. Grady Faimon took 23rd with a 90, Titus Epp shot a 94 and finished 27th.





Cambridge


The Trojans shot a 367 and finished 6th. They had two medalists: Micah Gerlach took 5th with an 81, and Graham Shoemaker shot an 86 and finished 12th. Maverick Webb and Carter Shoemaker each shot 100 and finished 36th and 37th. Tayten Koeppen shot a 103 and finished 40th.


Southern Valley


The Eagles finished 8th with a 396. Jace Hammond took 25th with a 92, Xander Sherwood shot a 93 and took 26th, Jacob Rice finished 44th with a 105, Tylor Grove finished 46th with a 106, and Chase Hamilton finished 49th with a 108.





Bertrand


The Vikings took 9th with a 410 at their home meet. Payton Way finished 29th with a 95, Quentin Mumm shot a 104 and finished 41st, Dylan Hock finished with a 104 and took 42nd, and Ryker Schroeder finished 48th with a 108.





Southwest


The Roughriders finished 10th with a 416. Houston Billeter finished 8th with an 83. Dylan Cornwell finished 39th with a 103, Alex Lashley shot a 111 and finished 50th, and Breyer Lampe shot a 119 and finished 52nd. We chatted with Houston Billeter of Southwest after his solid day.
