Four RPAC Squads Compete at the Bertrand Invite, Alma Wins the Team Title

On Thursday, May 14th, 2026, Bertrand hosted its annual golf invite. It was a tale of two different types of weather as the morning was incredibly windy, and in the afternoon, it was calm and a wonderful day for golf.

Alma


Alma finished 1st as a team, shooting a 331. William VanBoening shot a 78 and finished 5th, Titus Epp shot an 80 and placed 7th, and Crew Bennett placed 9th with an 83. Mason Gesick shot a 90 and finished 18th, and Grady Faimon shot a 94 and finished 24th.


Southern Valley


The Eagles finished 5th with a 364. Jace Hammond finished 10th with an 83. Xander Sherwood had a good day as well, putting up an 88 and placing 14th. Jacob Rice shot a 91 and finished 20th. Kelby Ludeke shot a 102 and finished 33rd, and Johnny Eakins shot a 113 and finished 48th.



Southwest


The Roughriders finished with a 365 and 6th place. Houston Billeter placed 11th with an 83, Dylan Cornwell shot an 88 and finished 13th, Brett Blume shot a 95 and finished 26th, Jaxton Payton finished 31st and shot a 99, and Alex Lashley finished 37th with a 104.


Bertrand


The Vikings finished 7th with a 371. Scott Bieker had a great day, shooting a 77 and placing 2nd. Payton Way shot an 89 and finished 15th. Hunter Nelson shot a 98 and finished 30th, Dylan Hock had a 107 and finished 40th. Ryker Schroeder finished 49th with a 116.
