It was Senior Night on Friday as Southern Valley hosted Hi-Line for a D1-9 District matchup. The Eagles were seeking their first win of the season, while the Bulls were fighting to keep their playoff hopes alive. Hi-Line was able to come away with a victory, 42-6.

Southern Valley had the opening possession, and it appeared they would control the line of scrimmage and set the tempo. They went 14 plays and got to the Hi-Line 12-yard line, chewing up over half of the time in the first period. They ended up turning it over on downs.

Hi-Line was able to make the most of their first possession as they drove the field and Chase Beitler scored his first touchdown of the game on a 10-yard run. It was 8-0 heading to the second quarter.

Hi-Line scored again before halftime as Beitler ran in from 32 yards away. It was 16-0 going to the half.
