Hitchcock County Takes Runner-Up, RPAC Sends a Number of Individuals From the Tough D-4 District to State

Updated: May 19

On Monday Cambridge played host to the D-4 District Golf Invite at Cross Creek Golf Links. In Class D, this was by far one of the toughest districts as there were a number of great teams and individuals on the course. The top teams and golfers in the district performed at a high level. Of course, the top three teams qualify for state and then the top-10 individuals make it. Now, if there are ties for the 10th place finish, all of those athletes get to go to state.

The top team position did come down to a playoff between Hitchcock County and Loomis. It took just one hole to determine a winner between the two teams.
