Addison says she is participating in art and choir this year, and has also done drama in the past.
She shares that art is her favorite because she has grown up with it and enjoys painting and drawing in her free time.
Addison explains that arts classes help her connect with classmates she might not normally spend time with outside of school.
She says being in class with the same people throughout the year helps friendships grow naturally.
On balancing school and activities, she says staying organized and using free time for schoolwork is essential.
Addison describes arts programs as a welcome break from core classes because they allow more freedom and personal style.
She notes that art can move at an individual pace, while choir is fun and less stressful than other classes.
