We had the chance to do a fun Q&A blog on Colt Gosnell, an incoming senior at Maxwell Public Schools.
Q. What are you looking forward to going into your senior year?
A. I’m looking forward to doing well in football...I feel like Maxwell can be good this year if us boys focus up.
Q. Favorite Sports Memory?
A. Getting multiple sacks in a row against Maywood-Hayes Center last year.
Q. What does leadership mean to you?
A. A good leader to me is someone that can take constructive criticism and a joke every once in a while.
Q. Pregame Ritual or superstition?
A. My pregame ritual is stretching and a lot of Icy Hot.
Q. Favorite Sports Hero?
A. Josh Allen would be my sports hero because he worked his way to the top, and I’m a Bills fan.
Q. What have you learned about teamwork in your days of playing sports?
A. My years have shown me that you don’t get to dictate if you are a leader your team decides.
Q. Weird food combination you can’t get behind?
A. I hate anything that has ketchup.
Q. Text or call?
A. (Call) Texting takes way too much time.
Q. Beaches or Mountains?
A. Mountains are better in every way.
