RPAC Baseball Results as of 4/27

After a week off for the Varsity, the Maxwell-St. Pat's Baseball Team was back in action. They hosted a pair of teams on Thursday for their final home games of the season, and both were formidable opponents.





In their game against Adams Central, they fell 18-3 in five innings. The teams were tied 3-3 after one inning, but Adams Central went on to score three runs in the second inning, 10 in the third, and two in the fourth.




For Maxwell-St. Pat's, Breckyn Collins went 2-2 and Xavier Pieper went 1-2 with an RBI. Kole Jones also had an RBI. Collins had four stolen bases. As a team, they had six steals.





On the mound, Breckyn Collins went 2.1 innings, allowing five hits and five earned runs, along with three walks and a strikeout. Griffin Flock went 2.2 innings annd allowed five hits, three earned runs, and had two strikeouts.


Maxwell-St. Pat's had seven errors.

In their other game, they faced North Platte and lost 16-4 in five innings. It was innings three through five that doomed Maxwell-St. Pat's. The led going to the third, 1-0, but then North Platte scored four runs in the third, seven in the fourth, and five in the fifth.




Maxwell-St. Pat's had four errors in the game. As a team, they had seven hits; Breckyn Collins went 1-3, Jaxon Braithwait went 2-3, Griffin Flock went 1-1 with an RBI, Levi Charter went 2-2, and Xavier Pierper went 1-3 with an RBI. Braithwait had four stolen bases.



Isaac Irish 1.1 innings, six earned runs, eight hits, and one strikeout, Javen Wescoat went .2 innings and got both batters out as he faced just two, and then Kole Jones went three innings, allowing four hits, four earned runs, and six walks.


Maxwell-St. Pat's is now 2-5 and will play at Centennial on Tuesday before postseason play.
