Maxwell/St. Pat's had one game this past week, and they were able to secure a win. Maxwell/St. Pat's faced Sedgwick County on the road Tuesday. They were able to win by a large margin, 16-6.

At the top of the first, MSP was able to strike first and went up 1-0. Sedgwick County answered back with a pair of runs themselves as they led 2-1 heading to the second. In the top of the second inning, MSP scored four runs and took a 5-2 lead heading to the home half of the second. The Lions scored two more runs, and going to the third inning, MSP led 5-4.

MSP was able to open up its lead more in the third inning, scoring six runs. They had an 11-4 lead until the bottom of the sixth inning. Sedgwick County scored a run, and MSP led 11-5 heading to the seventh inning. MSP scored five more runs to lead 16-5 heading to the bottom of the seventh inning. Sedgwick County scored one more run, but could not complete the comeback.

For MSP, Ty Davis went 4-5 with two RBI's and four runs scored, Jaxson Braithwait went 3-4 with four RBI's, Levi Charter went 3-4 with three RBI's, Jaiven Wescoat was 1-5 with two RBI's, and Michael Lesmes was 3-4 with two RBI's.

Griffin Flock went four innings, allowing four earned runs and had five strikeouts. Javien Wescoat went three innings and had five strikeouts.

MSP is now 1-2 and will play Holdrege on Tuesday in North Platte, and then they will be at Aurora on Thursday.
