RPAC Baseball Results as of 5/4

Maxwell-St. Pat's had their regular season finale this week as they hit the road to play Centennial. Maxwell-St. Pat's was able to take care of business in a big way, winning, 13-6.




Maxwell-St. Pat's started fast by scoring two runs in the first inning. The Broncos answered with one of their own in the home half. In the top of the second inning, Maxwell-St. Pat's opened things up by scoring six runs. In the bottom of the second, Centennial scored three runs, but Maxwell-St. Pat's led 8-4.


Fast forwarding to the middle if the fourth inning, Maxwell-St. Pat's kept it rolling and led 12-4.

Maxwell-St. Pat's did enough with offense scoring one more time, and on defense allowing two runs, to hang on for the win. Maxwell-St. Pat's had 12 hits and one error. Centennial had nine hits and two RBI's. Maxwell-St. Pat's also drew nine walks.




On offense, Breckyn Collins went 1-3 , Jaxson Braithwait went 2-4 with two RBI's, Isaac Irish went 1-3 with an RBI, Griffin Flock went 2-5 , Levi Charter went 2-3 with an RBI, Zavier Pieper went 0-3 but had two RBI's, Kole Jones went 3-3 with two RBI's, Braxton Richards went 1-3 with two RBI's.




Collins went four innings, allowed eight hits, five earned runs, had four walks and four strikeouts. Griffin Flock went three innings, allowed one hit, one earned run, two walks and one strikeout.






Maxwell-St. Pat's is now 3-5 and will compete in the C-6 District Baseball Tournament. That will begin on Thursday, May 8th. They will be the #3 seed and play #2 seed Lincoln Christian. The winner of that game will play either #1 seed Mount Michael Benedictine or #4 seed Raymond Central. That game would be Friday, May 9th. Those games will be at Mount Michael Benedictine.
