Minden Public Schools was the site for the New West All-Star Classic last Thursday night and the RPAC put together a solid squad of players but were unable to get a victory over the FKC, falling 70-52.
In the first quarter, the RPAC could not get anything to go as they trailed 16-5 after the first eight minutes.
In the second quarter, the defense tightened up and the offense got rolling for the RPAC as they trailed by just five going into the half, 26-21.
In the third quarter, the RPAC came out strong with an alley-oop to Hayden Kramer to get things started, but the FKC was able to keep their composure and also extend their lead, going up 49-33 heading into the final quarter.
In the final quarter, the RPAC tried to make a little run to get back into it, but it wasn't quite enough to get the win.
Kramer had nine to lead the RPAC.
