The cross county season concluded on Friday at the Kearney Country Club.
State Meet Results
Alma: Griffin Stemper finished 44th (18:32.1), Jaxon Tischner finished 102nd (20:16.9), Nolan Pfeil finished 106th (20:34.4), Blayden Herrick finished 110th (20:53.1), and Ian Dunse finished 117th (21:42.5). The team finished 17th with 157 points. Harper Fennel finished 104th with a time of 25:23.2.
Bertrand-Loomis: The Wolfkings had to make an adjustment heading into the State meet as Carter Horner went out with an injury. Coleman Langford stepped into fill the role. Marcus Hernandez finished 39th (18:22.2), Wes Trompke finished 73rd (19:09.2, Chonsey Bieker finished 109th (20:47.3), Colton Wagner finished 119th (21:43.2) and Coleman Langford finished 125th (23:21.9). The team finished 15th with 135 points.
Cambridge: Brenna Deterding finished 29th (22:00.2), Rachel Harris finished 74th (23:23.8), Kori Koeppen finished 92nd (24:20.5), JoLie Farr finished 113th (26:28.1) and teammate Jensyn Weiss was right ton her heels as she finished 114th (26:28.3). The team finished 15th with 122 points.
Medicine Valley: Kael Garrett finished 56th with a time of 18:46.2.
Southwest: Cole Barnett finished 82nd with a time of 19:29.2.
Paxton: Rylin Johns finished 87th with a time of 19:43.6 and Ainsley McConnell finished 72nd with a time of 23:22.1.
Wallace: Trey Robertson was named the Class D NSAA State Cross County Champion on Friday as he cross the line with a time of 16:38.7. For the girls, Ashely Robertson finished 33rd (22:07.7), Dajana Garrison finished 41st (22:36.5) and Ryleigh Hansen finished 23:27.4). The team finished 12th with 97 points.
