It was an action packed week for the RPAC cross country teams as a majority of them competed in two meets this week. Check out the results below.
Alma Invite 9/13
Alma: Griffin Stemper led the Cardinals at their home meet this week. He finished in 5th with a time of 19:22.46 while teammate Brayden Herrick finished in 15th with a time of 20:17.55. As a team, Alma finished 3rd with 37 points. For the girls, Harper Fennel had a nice race finishing in 2nd with a time of 24:43.18.
Arapahoe: Campbell Schutz just missed placing as he finished in 16th with a time of 20:24.93. The team finished 6th with 68 points. For the girls, River Einsphar placed 8th with a time of 27:08.24.
Medicine Valley: Kael Garrett paced the Raiders as he finished 2nd with a time of 18:54.43 while Joe Brown finished in 14th with a time of 20:16.34. As a team, they finished 4th with 38 points. For the girls, Paige Hollers finished 17th with a time of 32:44.55.
Southern Valley: Koby Hunt led the way as he finished 20th with a time of 22:09.34. The team finished 7th with 75 points. For the girls, Tayley Becker crossed the line 7th with a time of 27:08.34. The team finished 3rd with 20 points.
Southwest: Cole Barnett placed 12th with a time of 20:14.14 while teammate Austin Thompson finished 23rd with a time of 23:48.27.
Arapahoe Invite 9/15
Alma: Griffin Stemper finished 5th (19:49), Brayden Herrick placed 8th (20:16), and Jaxon Tischner finished 13th (20:58). As a team, the Cardinals finished 1st with 16 points. Harper Fennel placed 12th with a time of 26:00.
Arapahoe: Campbell Schutz paced the Warriors at their home meet finishing in 9th with a time of 20:24. As a team, they finished in 5th with 49 points. For the girls, River Einsphar finished 17th with a time of 27:07.
Cambridge: Gavin Gunderson paced the Trojans placing 11th (20:50) while Dierks Sayer just missed placing as he came in 18th (21:12). As a team, they finished 4th with 44 points. On the girls side, Brenna Deterding finished 2nd (23:33), Rachel Harris 3rd (23:45), and Kori Koeppen 11th (25:52). The team finished 2nd with 14 points.
Maxwell: Elio Nila led Maxwell finishing in 19th with a time of 21:37. For the girls, Keiliah Curtis placed 11th with a time of 25:51. The team finished 5th with 49 points.
Maywood-Hayes Center: Victoriah Deaver had a good run as she finished 27th with a time of 27:43.
Paxton: Rylin Johns led the way for the Tigers as he finished in 4th with a time of 19:14 and teammate Noah Connick just missed a medal with a 16th place finish and a time of 21:04. The team finished 3rd with 36 points. For the girls, Ainsley McConnell paced the Tigers with a time of 25:11 and an 8th place finish while Ella Forte finished 13th with a time of 26:01. The team finished 4th with 30 points.
Southern Valley: Isaac Hamilton finished in 12th with a time of 20:54. The team finished 7th with 58 points. For the girls, Laurel Stadler led the way with a time of 31:43 and finished in 30th. The team finished in 6th with 67 points.
Southwest: Cole Barnett finished in 6th place with a time of 19:48 and Austin Thompson finished in 14th with a time of 20:59.
Wallace: It was all Trey Robertson at Arapahoe this week as he out ran the lead cart to finish 1st with a time of 18:02 and his sister, Ashley Robertson also ran away with a 1st place finish and a time of 23:07. Ryleigh Hansen finished 5th (23:08) and Dajanna Garrison 7th (24:29) to help the team finish 1st with 11 points.
McCook Invite 9/15
Dundy County Stratton: Lizabeth Cardoza finished in 45th with a time of 31:16.65.
Hitchcock County: Kade Thiessen led the way with a 52nd place finish and a time of 23:01.52 while teammate Landon Tines wasn't far behind as he finished 55th with a time of 23:12.81. As a team, they finished 12th with 226 points. For the girls, Calista Carney paced the Falcons with a 32nd place finish and a time of 27:41.82. As a team, they finished 9th with 144 points.
Ravenna Invite 9/15
Bertrand-Loomis: The Wolfkings were led by Marcus Hernandez who placed 7th with a time of 19:19.5 and Wes Trompke finished 13th with a time of 20:03.6. As a team, they finished 3rd with 38 points. For the girls, Addison Hansen led the way with a time of 28:41.7 and finished 31st while teammate Logan Schutz finished 33rd with a time of 29:02.6. The team finished 9th with 106 points.
