RPAC Cross Country Teams Compete at Tough Cambridge Invite Friday Morning

It was a great morning to run at the Cambridge Cross Country Invite at Cross Creek Golf Links on Friday for 10 RPAC Teams. It was a tough meet but the RPAC runners found success. Let's jump into the results beginning with the boys.

Other runners for Alma included Bladyn Herrick who finished 16th with a time of 20:12.00, Barrett Zikmund who finished 21st with a time of 20:20.93, Ian Dunse who finished 19th with a time of 20:42.06, Titus Epp who finished 34th with a time of 22:07.80, Tayvian Sharp who finished 38th with a time of 22:55.02, and Landon Wilhelm who finished 46th with a time of 24:12.84.


Arapahoe:

Arapahoe was led by Eli Carpenter who finished 28th with a time of 21:47.55, Lael Rathbun finished 32nd with a time of 21:57.72, Hunter Larson finished 41st with a time of 23:17.25, and Thomas Magorian finished 49th with a time of 24:32.25.


Cambridge:

Other runners for Cambridge included Braden Sandfort who finished 23rd with a time of 20:55.91, Henry Shoemaker who finished 25th with a time of 21:32.27, Jaysek Weiss who finished 35th with a time of 22:09.23, Carter Shoemaker who finished 37th with a time of 22:42.63, and Colton Gross who finished 45th with a time of 24:06.94.


Dundy County Stratton:

Xander Cardoza finished 57th with a time of 27:30.48.


Hi-Line:

Connor Edwards led the Bulls with a 24th-place finish and a time of 21:08.34, Christan Maurer finished 40th with a time of 23:10.92, Finn Kerznar finished 44th with a time of 2336.90, and Beau Kerznar finished 55th with a time of 25:56.87.


Hitchcock County:

David Peaslee finished 30th with a time of 21:54.48, Connor Latta finished 31st with a time of 21:55.27, Ashton Baker finished 33rd with a time of 22:04.68, and Benjamin Sailors finished 62nd with a time of 47:31.00.


Maywood-Hayes Center:

Rubiel Lopez led the Wolves with a time of 21:35.37 and finished 26th, Steven Werkmeister finished 53rd with a time of 25:53.46, and Emmanuel Lopez finished 61st with a time of 35:35.10.


Medicine Valley:

Other runners for the Raiders were Kevin Bantam with a 29th place finish with a time of 21:52.04, Shya Gudaitis finished 36th with a time of 22:18.71, Tyler Bantam finished 52nd with a time of 25:19.23, and Adin Nelsen finished 56th with a time of 27:06.32.


Southern Valley:

Other runners included Trenton Shockman who finished 27th with a time of 21:38.36, and Bryton Stalder who finished 48th with a time of 24:37.84.


Southwest:

Caleb Heskett finished 39th with a time of 22:55.80 and Shie King finished 58th with a time of 27:31.69.

Cambridge:

Other runners for Cambridge included Jensyn Weiss who finished 20th with a time of 25:53.20 and Irmina Cramer who finished 32nd with a time of 31:33.95.


Hi-Line:

Hailey Edwards finished 23rd with a time of 26:42.71, Kara Brockman finished 27th with a time of 27:21.85, and Whitney Page who finished 28th with a time of 27:40.38.


Hitchcock County:

Sonya Schermerhorn finished 34th with a time of 31:51.72.


Maywood-Hayes Center:

Kesli Cox finished 26th with a time of 27:15.04 and Adrianna Estrada finished 35th with a time of 32:37.99.


Southern Valley:

Jazemine Lujan finished 33rd with a time of 31:42.79.


Southwest:

Ambie Custard finished 17th with a time of 25:29.64 and Rylan Custard finished 21st with a time of 26:04.65.

Alma, Hi-Line, and Southern Valley will be back in action next Tuesday for the Lexington Invite on Tuesday.


Cambridge, Dundy County Stratton, Hitchcock County, Maywood-Hayes Center, and Southwest will be back on the course next Thursday for the Chase County invite.


Medicine Valley is off until next Saturday when they head to Broken Bow.
