It was a relatively quiet week, with only a handful of teams in action before the moratorium break. Check out how the week went last week!

Alma
Alma hosted Medicine Valley on Monday and defeated the Raiders, 69-10. Kamryn Scott had 22 points, five assists, and two steals; Kinley Ford had 16 points, six rebounds, eight assists, and 10 steals; Vayden Epp had 14 points, three rebounds, two assists, and four steals; Taryn Siebels had six points; Abbie Pool had four assists; and Kamri Neal had four points, four rebounds, and two steals.
On Tuesday, Alma traveled to Holdrege. After the first quarter, the Dusters led Alma 19-10 and led the Cardinals 32-20 at halftime. After adjustments during the break, Alma outscored Holdrege in the third quarter 16-9 to cut the deficit to 41-36. Holdrege extended the lead and defeated the Cardinals, 57-48. Ford had 24 points, two rebounds, two assists, and four steals; Neal had 14 points, four rebounds, and two steals; Scott had five points, three assists, and four steals; and Tierston Moore had five points, five rebounds, and two assists.
Alma is now 7-1 on the season and will be off until January 5th, when they host Axtell; January 6th, when they travel to Superior; January 9th, when they host Norton, KS; and January 10th, when they travel to Thayer Central.
Arapahoe
Arapahoe had no games last week and remains 5-2. The Warriors are hosting the Bob Braithwait Holiday Tournament on Monday and Tuesday.
Bertrand
Bertrand had no games last week and remains 2-5. The Vikings will play in the Elm Creek Holiday Tournament on Monday and Tuesday and travel to Wauneta-Palisade on Friday.

Cambridge
Cambridge had no games last week and remains 4-1. The Trojans will play in the Loomis Holiday Tournament on Monday and Tuesday, will host Maywood-Hayes Center on Friday, and travel to Paxton on Saturday.
Dundy County Stratton
Dundy County Stratton had no games last week and remains 6-0. The Tigers will play in the Axtell Holiday Tournament on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Hi-Line
Hi-Line had no games last week and remains 1-6. The Bulls will travel to Lawrence-Nelson on Tuesday.

Hitchcock County
Hitchcock County had no games last week and remains 2-4. The Falcons will play in the Brady Holiday Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
Maxwell
Maxwell played in the Maxwell Booster Club Tournament on Monday against Brady. The Wildcats lost to the Eagles, 45-29. Madelyn Flock had nine points; Madelynn Nelson had nine points, four rebounds, and two steals; Kristyn Cheek had five points, 10 rebounds, and three assists; Rylynn Quick had five rebounds; and Emory Christensen had four rebounds and two steals.
The Wildcats are 3-4 and will be off until January 6th, when they travel to Arapahoe; January 9th, when they travel to Hershey; and January 10th, when they host Overton.
Maywood-Hayes Center
Maywood-Hayes Center played in the Paxton Holiday Tournament on Monday and Tuesday.
On Monday, the Wolves defeated Garden County 58-12. Caylie Softley had 20 points, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals; Karissa Stengel had 19 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and four steals; Ava Messersmith had six points, five rebounds, and two steals; Carly Softley had four points; Paytyn Stengel had four points, five rebounds, and three steals; and Blayklee Farr had five rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
In the title game on Tuesday against Hyannis, the Wolves won 57-14. No stats have been uploaded at the time of writing the blog. Once they are available, we will update the blog.
MHC is 8-1 and will travel to Cambridge on Friday and will host Sandhills/Thedford on Saturday.

Medicine Valley
Medicine Valley traveled to Alma on Monday and lost to the Cardinals 69-10. Oakley Stout had six points, eight rebounds, and five steals, and Jordiya Phillips had five rebounds.
The Raiders are 1-7 and are off until January 6th, when they host Wallace, and January 9th, when they travel to Arapahoe.
Paxton
Paxton hosted a holiday tournament on Monday and Tuesday.
On Monday, Paxton lost to Hyannis 36-32. Ella Fote had nine points, three rebounds, and two steals; Marlee Gleason had six points, nine rebounds, and five steals; Jaleigh Hansen had five points and four rebounds; Reece Glinn had five points and three rebounds; Jakcee Mitchell had four points, five rebounds, three assists, three steals, and two blocks; and Addison Holm had three points, five rebounds, and two blocks.
On Tuesday in the consolation game, the Tigers defeated Garden County 50-28. Fote had 15 points and three steals; Hansen had 12 points, four rebounds, and two steals; Holm had eight points, five rebounds, and five steals; Mitchell had eight points, five rebounds, and seven steals; Gleason had four rebounds; and Glinn had four rebounds.
Paxton is 6-2 and will host Cambridge on Saturday.
Southern Valley
Southern Valley had no games last week and remains 4-4. The Eagles will play in the Bob Braithwait Holiday Tournament in Arapahoe on Monday and Tuesday, and will travel to Southwest on Saturday.
Southwest
Southwest had no games last week and remains 3-4. The Roughriders will travel to Franklin on Friday and host Southern Valley on Saturday.

Sutherland had no games last week and remains 2-4. The Sailors will travel to Potter-Dix on Friday.
Wallace
Wallace had no games last week and remains 1-5. The Wildcats will play in the Loomis Holiday Tournament on Monday and Tuesday.
Wauneta-Palisade
Wauneta-Palisade had no games last week and remains 3-3. The Broncos will play in the Wilcox-Hildreth Holiday Tournament on Monday and Tuesday, as well as host Bertrand on Friday.
