RPAC Girls Basketball Results as of 2/9

Teams jumped back into a busy week of games after the RPAC tournament and have one more week of preparation before sub-district action begins. Check out how the games shook out last week.
Alma
Alma hosted Arapahoe on Tuesday and defeated the Warriors 47-27. The defense was strong as Alma grabbed 23 rebounds, 14 of which were defensive, and came away with 19 steals as a team. Kamryn Scott led the Cardinals with 16 points, five assists, and four steals; Tierston Moore posted 12 points, four rebounds, and six steals; and Vayden Epp had nine points, three rebounds, and three steals.
Friday night brought an RPAC East Quarterfinal rematch. If you don't remember, Alma won that game in double overtime to advance in the tournament. It was the Cardinals on Friday night, defeating the Eagles 40-33.
Alma improves to 17-4 and will wrap up their regular season with games on Tuesday at home against Phillipsburg, KS, and Cambridge on Friday.
Arapahoe
The Warriors traveled to Alma on Tuesday and lost to the Cardinals 47-27. Sage Larson led Arapahoe with 12 points, shooting four of eight from three; Emma Strand added six points and six rebounds; and Desi Farner had four points and three rebounds.
The Warriors earned a bounce-back win on the road over Brady on Friday night, 65-39. Suttyn Shafer paced the Warriors with 14 points and five assists; Farner added 12 points, three rebounds, two assists, and three steals; Ruby McCune had 11 points and seven rebounds; and Strand had nine points.
On Saturday, Arapahoe hosted Hitchcock County and won 57-31. Sawyer Shafer had 11 points, four assists, and three steals; Desi Farner and Suttyn Shafer each added eight points.
Arapahoe is now 14-8 and will close out their regular season on the road as they travel to Cambridge on Tuesday and Bertrand on Friday.
Bertrand
On Tuesday night, Bertrand hosted Cambridge and avenged a loss from the RPAC tournament from five nights prior. The Vikings defeated the Trojans 49-4. Cambridge led after the first quarter, 11-8, but the Vikings caught fire in the second quarter, outscoring the Trojans 16-7 to make the halftime score 24-18 in favor of the Vikings. It was a back-and-forth second half, as both teams were able to score. Bertrand weathered the storm to seal the win. Brooklyn Evans led the Vikings with 17 points, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals; Shelby Schoene added 13 points, eight rebounds, and three steals; and Addison Andersen had 11 points, five rebounds, five assists, and nine steals.
On Friday, Bertrand hosted Medicine Valley, and the Vikings defeated the Raiders 48-9. Strong defense was a key for Bertrand as they tallied 42 rebounds and 31 steals as a team. Andersen had 18 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and nine steals; Livia Philips had 12 points, eight rebounds, and five steals; and Schoene had eight rebounds and nine steals.
Bertrand improves to 9-12 and will close out the regular season at home against Arapahoe on Friday and at Kenesaw on Saturday.
Cambridge
Cambridge traveled to Bertrand on Tuesday night and lost to the Vikings 49-41. Cambridge led after the first quarter, 11-8, but the Vikings caught fire in the second quarter, outscoring the Trojans 16-7 to make the halftime score 24-18 in favor of the Vikings. It was a back-and-forth second half, as both teams were able to score, but the Trojans came up short. Mallory Springer led Cambridge with 11 points and 16 rebounds; Brooklyn Holtze had eight points and five rebounds; Elisabeth Kubik had seven points and six steals; and Chloe Gooden added six points.
On Thursday, the Trojans hosted Hi-Line and bounced back with a win over the Bulls, 63-37. Springer had 18 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and three steals; Holtze had 16 points and four steals; and Webb had 10 points and six rebounds.
Cambridge traveled to North Platte St. Pat's on Saturday, defeating the Irish 41-34. Springer had 10 points and 11 rebounds, and Holtze had 10 points.
Cambridge is now 11-9 and will wrap up the regular season at home with Arapahoe on Tuesday and on the road in Alma on Friday.
Dundy County Stratton
On Tuesday, the Tigers hosted Southwest and lost to the Roughriders 49-42. This was an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup, and you can read more about this game by clicking here.
Dundy County Stratton traveled to take on Cozad on Saturday. The Tigers defeated the Haymakers for a big win of 53-27.
The Tigers are now 14-5 and will travel to North Platte St. Pat's on Tuesday and host Southern Valley on Friday to finish their regular season.
Hi-Line
Hi-Line traveled to Medicine Valley on Tuesday and picked up the 60-46 win over the Raiders. Ellaray Koch led all scoring with 29 points and added six steals; Bentley Stubbs had 18 points, 14 rebounds, five assists, and six steals; and Lauryn Ruda added 11 points and four rebounds.
The Bulls traveled to Cambridge on Friday and lost to the Trojans 63-37. Olivia Wall had 18 points, eight rebounds, and four steals.
Hi-Line is now 3-16 and will wrap up their season with a trip to Elm Creek on Tuesday and will host South Loup on Friday.
Hitchcock County
The Falcons had a big week this week, as they had four games last week. On Monday, Hitchcock County hosted Cody-Kilgore with a score of 58-38. Madysen Carlson led the team with 17 points and 15 rebounds; Raegan Hagan added 10 points and five assists; Riley Hagan had nine points, six rebounds, four assists, and two steals; and Kaiah Johnson had nine and four rebounds.
On Tuesday, Hitchcock County hosted Southern Valley and lost to the Eagles 50-39. Carlson had 15 points, Raegan Hagan had 13 points, and Asia Homma posted 11 rebounds.
Friday brought Maywood-Hayes Center to town, and the Falcons lost to the Wolves 73-39. Raegan Hagan had 21 points, and Johnson added six points and 10 rebounds.
Hitchcock County traveled to Arapahoe on Saturday and lost to the Warriors 57-31.
The Falcons are now 8-12 on the year and will close out their regular season with Chase County at home on Tuesday and on the road at Wallace on Friday.
Maxwell
The Wildcats traveled to Perkins County on Tuesday and earned the 51-36 victory. Kristyn Cheek had 22 points, 11 rebounds, and six steals, and Jenna Miller added 11 points, three rebounds, five assists, and three steals.

Maywood-Hayes Center
On Monday, the Wolves hosted Mullen and defeated the Broncos with a score of 61-37. Caylie Softley had 25 points, five rebounds, and three assists, and Karissa Stengel added 19 points, three rebounds, eight assists, and six steals.
Thursday brought Hershey to town, and MHC defeated the Panthers 73-50. Stengel had 24 points and five steals; Softley had 14 points, six rebounds, and three steals; Reagan Stengel had 10 points and 10 assists; Blayklee Farr had nine points, four rebounds, and four assists; and Kesli Cox added nine points and three assists.
The Wolves traveled to Hitchcock County on Friday and defeated the Falcons 73-39. K. Stengel had 23 points, six rebounds, six assists, and five steals; Farr had 12 points, four rebounds, and three assists; Cox had 12 points and six rebounds; and Softley added 11 points, six rebounds, four assists, and seven steals.
MHC is 20-3 and will wrap up the regular season with a trip to Ogallala on Thursday and Wauneta-Palisade on Friday.
Medicine Valley
Medicine Valley hosted Hi-Line on Tuesday and lost to the Bulls 60-46. The Raiders had seven blocks as a team. Oakley Stout had 14 points, nine rebounds, and four blocks; Remmi Stout had 13 points, eight rebounds, three assists, five steals, and two blocks; Kamree Elsten had eight points and six rebounds; and Haylie Gustafson added 12 rebounds.

The Raiders traveled to Bertrand on Friday night and lost to the Vikings 48-9. O. Stout had four points, 13 rebounds, two steals, and two blocks, and R. Stout had four points, eight rebounds, and three blocks.
Medicine Valley is 2-17 and will finish up their regular season with a trip to Maxwell on Thursday and host Brady on Friday.
Paxton
On Tuesday, Paxton hosted North Platte St. Pat's and earned a 42-23 win over the Irish. Jaleigh Hansen scored 13 points and had four rebounds; Jordan Clouse had nine points and four assists; Ella Fote had nine points, and Jakcee Mitchell added 10 rebounds.
Paxton traveled to Sandhills Valley on Friday night, and after a close first quarter, 17-13, the Tigers found a new gear to secure the 49-35 win. Clouse had 12 points and four steals; Fote had 12 points; Hansen had 10 points, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals; and Mitchell had eight points, nine rebounds, and five steals.
Paxton hosted South Platte on Saturday and defeated the Blue Knights 47-27. Clouse had 10 points, Fote had 10 points, Mitchell added eight points, and Emmalee Nicholson added six rebounds.
Paxton improves to 12-8 and will host Hershey on Tuesday and travel to Sutherland on Thursday to wrap up their regular season.
Southern Valley
The Eagles traveled to Hitchcock County on Tuesday to take on the Falcons and earned the 50-39 win. Adi Hunt had 15 points, seven rebounds, and three assists; Brecklyn Hammond had 12 points, five rebounds, three assists, and three steals; Tori Bose added nine points, eight rebounds; and Brynn Baily had nine points and six rebounds.
The Eagles hosted Alma on Friday and struggled to find the bottom of the basket in the first half as Alma led 25-25. Southern Valley found their groove out of the half, but the deficit was too large as Alma defeated the Eagles, 40-33. Vanesa Aguayo led the team with nine points and Bose had 10 rebounds.
Southern Valley traveled to South Loup and secured a bounce-back win with a score of 45-17. Hunt led the team with 16 points and 11 steals.
Southern Valley is 16-5 and will finish up their regular season with some road trips to Gibbon on Tuesday and Dundy County Stratton on Friday.
Southwest
On Tuesday, the Roughriders traveled to Dundy County Stratton and came home with the 49-42 win. This was an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup, and you can read more about this game by clicking here.
On Thursday, Southwest hosted Perkins County, and after trailing 20-12 after the first quarter, the Roughriders found a new gear and dominated. Southwest defeated the Plainsmen 69-40.
Southwest is 19-1 on the year and will host Wallace on Tuesday and Axtell on Friday to finish up their regular season.
Sutherland
Sutherland hosted Garden County on Tuesday and lost to the Eagles 59-32. Mahala Vasquez had 13 points and five rebounds; Gracyn Elfeldt added eight rebounds and three assists; and Payten Weber had nine points.
On Friday, Sutherland traveled to Wauneta-Palisade and lost to the Broncos 52-36. Elfeldt had 12 points and five rebounds; Vasquez added nine rebounds; and Eliana Dyer had eight points, six rebounds, and three assists.
The Sailors are 3-15 and will conclude their regular season with a trip to Maxwell on Tuesday and will host Paxton on Thursday.
Wallace
Wallace traveled to Brady on Tuesday and lost to the Eagles 48-34.

Wauneta-Palisade
