Emma Rasmussen shot a 113 to end the day where she fought through adversity the whole day as she struggled off the tee which put her ball in tough places to score. Coach Calvert had this to say about Rasmussen's day and her high school career, "I was very proud of her resilience to never give up. In the end, she did not make the cut. Emma is a special young woman. She has proven herself as one of the toughest athletes I have ever coached. Her ability to make the most of anything that is thrown at her is unmatched. She will be missed very much."
Mileeya Monter shot 114 on the day and posted her best score of the season. Coach Calvert said she chose great targets and limited her penalty strokes to two on the day. Hailey Evans had a huge improvement on the course from earlier in the season as she scored 129 for the district meet.
Coach Calvert is looking for Monter's performance to carry her into her senior year and for Evans to grow more and more competitive. "I’m looking forward to continuing to work with both Mileeya and Hailey," said Calvert.
