RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup Preview: #2 Wallace @ #10 Southwest

Well, friends, here we are in the second round of the Class D6 Playoffs, and we have a rematch between two teams in the RPAC. On Friday, November 6, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. CT, the Southwest Roughriders will host the Wallace Wildcats.

Southwest is the No. 10 seed and is coming off a first-round win against Arthur County. Wallace is the No. 2 seed and is looking to keep rolling in the playoffs after beating High Plains in the first round. Oh, and as we mentioned, this is a rematch from earlier this season, when Wallace won 20-13. The game was played in Bartley, and it was a defensive battle.

ADVERTISEMENTS

I do think it's safe to say that on Friday evening, the Roughriders will find more success on the offensive side. I'm excited to see this matchup for a number of reasons, but obviously, I'm thrilled to see a matchup between two teams that have played at such a high level against one another. And it seems like whenever these two teams play each other, it's always an excellent matchup.
