RPAC Softball Results as of 10/7

The Southern Valley/Alma Saints began postseason play on Tuesday in the C-9 District in Auburn. The games were supposed to be played on Monday, but the weather had other plans, so they were moved to Tuesday.




Auburn was the host site and the #1 seed and SVA played them as the #4 seed. SVA put up a nice fight, but fell 10-2. Auburn went up early, 2-0, in the bottom of the first. SVa answered with a run in the top of the second inning to make it 2-1.


In the top of the third inning, SVa tied things up at 2-2. Auburn countered with two runs to go up 4-2.








SVA couldn't muster up any more runs on offense. Auburn scored six runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to make that lead 10-2. They closed out the game in five innings.


Auburn had seven hits and zero errors. SVA had five hits and three errors.

Kaitlyn Bradley was 1-2 with a home run and an RBI. Macy Adams was 1-3, Hayden Deyle was 1-2, Amy Luke was 1-2, and Alexa Miller was 1-2. Riley Aerni went 3.0 innings, allowing five hits, five earned runs, one walk, and three strikeouts. Josa Dunse allowed two hits and three earned runs. Mikah Schultz went 1.0 innings, allowing a walk but no runs.


SVA closes out the season at 9-17.
