RPAC Softball Results as of 8/31

This past week, the Southern Valley/Alma Saints had a couple of games, but some were also canceled due to the rain. On Monday they were scheduled to play in a triangular at McCook, that got rained out. SVA hosted a triangular on Friday and went 1-1.





They played Alliance and dropped the game 12-5. SVA had a lead of 4-3 after three innings. Alliance then scored two in the top of 4th to make it 5-4. SVA countered with a run in the bottom of the fifth to tie it at 5-5. Alliance scored seven runs to take control and win the game.


SVA had three errors. Alliance had 14 hits and SVA had 11.




For the Saints, Kaitlyn Bradley went 1-4 with an RBI, Macy Adams went 1-3 with an RBI, and Eden Jonson was 2-4 with an RBI. Mikah Schultz went 3.2 innings, allowing eight its, two earned runs, three walks, and four K's. Riley Aerni went two innings with two earned runs.





The Saints, though, got a big win over Gothenburg, 12-3. The Saints had six hits and three errors. Gothenburg had five hits with two errors.




Bradley went 1-2 with two RBI's, Macy Adams went 1-2 with two RBI's, Amy Luke and Eden Johnson each had a hit and an RBI. Aerni went four innings, allowed five hits, one earned run, three walks, and 11 K's.





Their Triangular at Holrege on Saturday was canceled.


SVA is 2-4 and will be at Fillmore Central on Tuesday and host Chase County on Thursday.
