RPAC Softball Results as of 9/13
The Southern Valley/Alma Saints had a full week of games; let's dive into the results
On Tuesday last week, the Saints beat Lexington 14-0. It was another no-hitter as Mikah Shultz went 3.0 innings and had five strikeouts. The Saints had eight hits. Hayden Deyle went 1-for-1 with two RBIs and two walks. Alexa Miller went 2-2 with two RBIs; Ava Dunse and Macy Johnson each had two RBIs.

On Thursday, the Saints then faced Cozad and lost 5-2. Cozad had eight hits, but the biggest issue was seven errors from SVA. For Cozad, Sara Howell went 7.0 innings and allowed four hits, two earned runs, and 11 strikeouts. For the Saints, Jorja Hammond went 4.0 innings, four hits, one earned run, and four strikeouts; Mikah Schultz went 1.0 inning, two runs, but no earned runs; and Hayden Deyle went 2.0 innings, two hits, one run, and none earned. As a team, the Saints allowed five walks.

Ava Dunse went 1-for-3 at the plate with one RBI; Macy Johnson was 1-for-3 with an RBI.
Over the weekend, the Saints played in the Malcolm Tournament. First, they fell to Centennial, 8-0. The Saints had one hit, and it came from Ava Dunse.
Then they bounced back and beat St. Paul, 16-3. The Saints had 12 hits. Kaitlyn Bradley was 2-3 with four RBIs. Bradley had a home run too. Mikah Schultz, Jorja Hammond, and Hayden Deyle each had two RBIs. Amy Luke was 1-4 with three RBIs.

Jorja Hammond went 2.2 innings, allowing four hits, two earned runs, and a couple of strikeouts. Hayden Deyle went 1.1 innings, allowing a hit, one earned run, and a strikeout.
In their final game, they played Arlington and lost 10-2. Arlington collected seven hits. SVA had one hit, and it came from Jorja Hammond. She also drove in a run, and Macy Johnson drove in one as well.

SVA is now 13-6 and will play Centura on Tuesday at home.
