RPAC Softball Results as of 9/21

The Southern Valley/Alma Saints had a light week this past week with just two games.


On Tuesday, they went to Centura. Centura started the scoring in the home half of the second inning as they were up 1-0. In the top of the third inning, SVA countered with a run and tied it up. Centura though scored three on the bottom of the third, three in the fifth inning, and two in the sixth to capture the win.




SVA had four hits and four errors. Centura had nine hits and no errors. Macy Adams had two hits and an RBI. Eden Johnson and Roley Aerni each had a hit.


Aerni went 4.0 innings with six hits allowed, four earned runs, one walk, and one strikeout. Mikah Schultz went 0.2 innings with two hits, one earned run, two walks, and Josa Dunse went 0.1 innings with a hit allowed, one earned run, and a walk.





On Thursday, SVA hosted Hershey. The Saints bounced back in a big way, winning 7-2. Scoring did not begin until the bottom of the fourth inning, when they put up four runs. They scored three more in the bottom of the sixth to make it 7-0. Hershey scored two in the top of the seventh, but could not complete the comeback.





SVA had seven hits and three errors. Hershey had three hits and four errors.


Johnson was 2-3 with three RBI's, Dunse had two RBI's, and Alexa Miller had an RBI and went 2-2.





Dunse went 6.2 innings and allowed three hits, 0 earned runs, and seven strikeouts.


SVA is 7-9 and will play in Central City's Triangular as they face Central City and Ord on Monday. Then on Thursday, they will host HWY 6, which is an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup.
