RPAC Track Results as of 4/27


Wow. The track season is absolutely flying by. Another week of excellent marks is in the books, and Sutherland will be hosting the RPAC Track Meet this year on Friday, May 2nd. In the 200-meter dash, Blaine Aldridge of DCS placed 2nd with a time of 23.45, and Noah Zoltenko of DCS placed 5th with a time of 23.65.


In the 400-meter dash, Jesse Reyes of Maxwell placed 3rd with a time of 52.20, and in the 800-meter run, Reyes placed 5th with a time of 2:07.75.


In the 3200-meter run, Xander Cardoza of DCS placed 8th with a time of 12:07.56.


In the 110-meter hurdles, Kevin Garcia of DCS placed 1st with a time of 15.25.


In the 300-meter hurdles, Gavin Degarmo of Maxwell placed 8th with a time of 47.87.



In the 4x100-meter relay, DCS set a new Class D State Record, pending state approval, with their 1st-place time of 42.99, which Garcia, Aldrige, Latta, and Wissink ran. Maxwell placed 8th with a time of 49.01, which was run by Jayden Cyr, Colt Gosnell, Reyes, and Jagger Kleewein.


In the 4x100-meter throwers relay, Maxwell placed 4th with a time of 53.17, which was run by Caleb Neitzel, Degarmo, Cyr, and Owen Pagel; DCS placed 5th with a time of 53.17, which was run by Lane Bybee, Aiden Kane, Judd Johnson, and Breck Horner.


In the 4x400-meter relay, DCS placed 4th with a time of 3:45.88, which was run by August Shaw, Cooper Shaw, Horner, and Tagen Yrkoski; and Maxwell placed 5th with a time of 3:57.08, which was run by Degarmo, Kleewein, Gosnell, and Reyes.


In the 4x800-meter relay, DCS placed 5th with a time of 9:25.72, which was run by Yrkoski, A. Shaw, C. Shaw, and Cardoza.


In shot put, Brock Bailey of DCS placed 1st with a toss of 57'8.25", and Carlos Diaz of DCS placed 4th with a toss of 45'5.25".


In discus, Bailey of DCS placed 2nd with a throw of 153'3", and Diaz of DCS placed 3rd with a throw of 137'4".


In high jump, Latta set a new meet record with his 1st place jump of 6'7.25, which leads Class D and puts him 5th all-class. Kleewein of Maxwell placed 6th with a jump of 5'8".


In long jump, Zoltenko of DCS placed 3rd with a jump of 20'8.5", and A. Shaw of DCS placed 6th with a jump of 19'11.5".


In triple jump, Bybee of DCS placed 5th with a jump of 38'7.5".

In the 100-meter dash, Clara Spargo set a new Class D State Record, pending state approval, with her prelim time of 12.24. Spargo placed 1st in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.30 in the finals.


In the 200-meter dash, Emma Baldeh of DCS placed 7th with a time of 28.25.


In the 800-meter run, LaChelle Benitez of Maxwell placed 4th with a time of 2:31.68.


In the 1600-meter run, Keilah Curtis of Maxwell placed 6th with a time of 6:29.77, and in the 3200-meter run, Curtis placed 5th with a time of 14:15.95.


In the 100-meter hurdles, Abi Spargo placed 2nd with a time of 15.27.


In the 4x100-meter relay, DCS placed 1st with a time of 50.12, which was run by Kennedy Bailey, A. Spargo, Baldeh, and C. Spargo.



In the 4x100-meter throwers relay, Maxwell placed 1st with a time of 62.18, which was run by Jayda Frederick, Elly Gosnell, Bryanne Bane, and Aspen Vanhorn.


In the 4x400-meter relay, Maxwell placed 7th with a time of 4:47.30, which was run by Benitez, Kurri Gosnell, Vanhorn, and Madelyn Nelson.


In the 4x800-meter relay, Maxwell placed 3rd with a time of 11:39.20, which was run by Benitez, Curtis, Nelson, and K. Gosnell.


In shot put, Bailey of DCS placed 1st with a throw of 43'6.75". Bailey also took 1st in discus with a throw of 139'8".


In high jump, A. Spargo placed 2nd with a jump of 5'0".


Midwest Nebraska Track Classic (Gothenburg) - Boys Results, 4/22

No team scores were kept -- Maywood-Hayes Center, Medicine Valley, Sutherland, and Wallace were all in attendance at this qualification-based meet. The top eight entries in each event competed. If distances/marks were close in the field events, they would possibly take more than eight entries.


In the 100-meter dash, Rubiel Lopez of MHC placed 8th with a time of 12.03.


In the 800-meter run, Kael Garrett of Medicine Valley placed 4th with a time of 2:04.50.


In the 4x100-meter relay, MHC placed 5th with a time of 46.15, which was run by Sawyer Dibbern, Ryan Werkmeister, Steven Werkmeister, and Lopez.


In the 4x800-meter relay, Wallace placed 6th with a time of 9:09.14, which was run by Max Hanson, Ashtin Johns, Wyatt Robertson, and Bradley Hanson.


In high jump, Mason Roblee of Medicine Valley tied for 3rd with a jump. of 5'10".


In pole vault, Jackson Saner of Sutherland placed 4th with a vault of 13'1".


In long jump, Dibbern of MHC placed 3rd with a jump of 20'0".


Midwest Nebraska Track Classic (Gothenburg) - Girls Results, 4/22

No team scores were kept -- Maywood-Hayes Center, Medicine Valley, Sutherland, and Wallace were all in attendance at this qualification-based meet. The top eight entries in each event competed. If distances/marks were close in the field events, they would possibly take more than eight entries.


In the 400-meter dash, Blayklee Farr of MHC placed 3rd with a time of 63.85.
