
The volleyball season wrapped up this past week as the NSAA State Tournament began on November 1st and ran through the 4th. Cambridge, Southwest, and Wallace represented the RPAC at the state tournament, check out the blog below to see more.
Cambridge defeated Shelton, 3-1, on Thursday to move on in the tournament. To read more about that match click here. In the semifinal round, the Trojans faced Wynot and was able to defeat the Blue Devils 3-1 to advance to the championship game. To read more about that match, click here. Cambridge faced a familiar face in the D2 championship game in Overton. The Trojans fell 3-0 to the Eagles, to read more about that story, click here. Cambridge finished the season as the D2 State Runner-up and with a record of 28-5.
Southwest fell to Elgin Public/Pope John in the first round of the D1 state tournament, to read more on that match click here. The Roughriders finished the season with a record of 29-4. Congratulations to Southwest on a great season.They will return a number of solid players for next season so they should be highly competitive again in 2024.
Wallace fell to Wynot in the D2 state tournament in the opening round. To read more on that story, click here. The Wildcats finished the season with a record of 27-5. They are another team that will return some solid experience, even with losing some key players. The Wildcats will be tough again next year based on what will be coming back in 2024.
