RPAC Volleyball Results as of 9/27
Volleyball is moving right along... It is already almost October; where did the season go? Let's jump into the results from last week.

Alma
The Cardinals had just one match this week as they traveled to Medicine Valley on Tuesday. Alma took sets one and two with scores of 25-14 and 25-18. Medicine Valley took the third set, 25-16, and Alma took the fourth set, 25-13, to win the match 3-1. Vayden Epp had nine kills and 21 digs; Taylor Pool had seven kills, four blocks, and five digs; Abbie Pool had five kills, three aces, eight digs, and 15 assists; Halee Neubauer had five kills, two aces, and 13 digs; Maryn Mintzmyer had two aces, four blocks, and 11 digs; Kenley Haussermann had four aces, 15 digs, and 13 assists; and Cayle Molzahn had five blocks and four digs.
Alma is 6-11 and will travel to Red Cloud on Tuesday for a triangular with the Warriors and Franklin, travel to Overton on Thursday for a triangular with the Eagles and Southwest, and will host Elm Creek on Friday.
Arapahoe
Arapahoe played one match this week, on Tuesday when they hosted Southwest. The Warriors swept the Roughriders, 3-0. Desi Farner had 14 kills and 14 digs; Taytum Roskop had 11 kills and 14 digs; Clara Hilker had nine kills, two aces, and 13 digs; Ruby McCune had six kills and 11 digs; Cydney Carlson had five kills; Sawyer Shafer had nine digs and 40 assists; and Suttyn Shafer had nine digs.
Arapahoe is 12-2 and will host Hershey on Tuesday, and travel to Medicine Valley on Thursday for a triangular with the Raiders and Paxton.
Bertrand
Bertrand hosted Franklin on Tuesday, and it turned into a five-set match. The Vikings took the first set, 25-23, but lost the second and third sets 25-18 and 25-19. Bertrand took the fourth set, 25-18, to force a deciding set, which they dropped 15-7 to lose the match, 3-2. Adrain Sand had 10 kills and 24 digs; Livia Philips had nine kills, two aces, and 17 digs; Alivia Rabe had eight kills and two aces; Jocelyn Hernandez had five kills and nine digs; Baylee Kipp had 36 digs; Bailey Vinzant had 25 digs; and Adlea Hock had 16 digs and 32 assists.
Bertrand hosted a tournament on Saturday and played in three matches. They faced Sandhills/Thedford, Ravenna, and Wauneta-Palisade.

Cambridge hosted Southern Valley and Loomis for a triangular on Tuesday.
Against Loomis, the Trojans won 2-0, with set scores of 25-19 and 25-19. Brooklyn Holtze had 17 kills, two digs, and eight assists; Joslyn Holtze had seven kills and six digs; Kyrie Houghtelling had five kills and eight digs; Kate Salberg had nine digs; Jayda Kinkade had six digs; and Peyton Soucie had seven digs and 18 assists.
Against Southern Valley, Cambridge took the 2-0 sweep, with set scores of 25-13 and 25-20. Kinkade had eight kills, two aces, and two digs; J. Holtze had seven kills and five digs; B. Holtze had five kills, three digs, and eight assists; Houghtelling had three aces and six digs; Salberg had three aces and five digs; Grace Andrews had two aces; and Soucie had five assists.

The Tigers hosted St. Francis, KS, and Lone Star, CO, on Thursday for a triangular.
Against St. Francis, DCS earned a 2-0 sweep, with set scores of 25-4 and 25-15. Emily Schack had 10 kills; Ava Lutz had eight kills, four aces, two blocks, and two digs; Abi Spargo had six kills and 13 digs; Kimberly Escobar had five digs; Charli Shaw had six digs; and Bree Lutz had 22 assists.

Hi-Line traveled to Maywood-Hayes Center on Tuesday for a tournament and played two matches. They faced South Platte and Maywood-Hayes Center.
Against South Platte, the Bulls got the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-19 and 25-8. Lauryn Ruda had eight kills; Bristol Kubert had five kills, three aces, and six digs; Klaire Pohl had two aces, seven digs, and 17 assists; RiLee Schutz had two aces and 11 digs; Piper Puls had five digs; and Kylee Kubert had six digs.

Hitchcock County traveled to Atwood-Rawlins County, KS, for a triangular on Tuesday with them and Wallace County, KS.
Against Rawlins County, the Falcons were swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-14 and 25-19. Katelyn Cook had five kills and 11 digs; Jayda Wood had two aces, six digs, and eight assists; Ensley Lawless had six digs; and Kalissa Hagan had five assists.
Against Wallace County, the Falcons took set one 25-17, lost set two 25-9, and won set three 25-18 to win the match 2-1. Cook had nine kills and seven digs; Rilynn Cook had five kills; Hagan had two aces, 14 digs, and nine assists; Lawless had 12 digs; Wood had seven digs and 12 assists; and Allana Raker had seven digs.
On Thursday, Hitchcock County hosted Cheylin-Bird City, KS. The Falcons took set one, 25-21, and then Cheylin took sets two, three, and four with scores of 25-22, 25-8, and 25-14, and Hitchcock County lost 3-1. Lawless had 12 kills and 10 digs; Hagan had eight kills, 15 digs, and nine assists; R. Cook had five kills; K. On Saturday, the Falcons traveled to Sutherland for a tournament, and they played in three matches. They faced Hemingford, Overton, and Hyannis.

Medicine Valley hosted Alma on Tuesday and lost the first two sets 25-14 and 25-18. The Raiders won set three, 25-16, but lost the fourth set, 25-13, and lost the match, 3-1. Oakley Stout had 11 kills and 29 digs; Kennley Cole had six kills and seven digs; Aspen Closman had five kills, five aces, and four digs; Delaney Evans had 11 digs; TeeJay Hildebrandt had 10 digs; Gracie Johns had five digs and 22 assists; and Zoe Trimble had six digs.

Medicine Valley is 2-12, will travel to Sandhills Valley on Tuesday, and will host Paxton and Arapahoe on Thursday for a triangular.

Paxton hosted a tournament on Tuesday and had two matches. They faced Wauneta-Palisade and Wallace.

Southwest traveled to Arthur County on Friday and earned the 3-0 sweep with set scores of 25-15, 25-6, and 25-12. Kurkowski had nine kills; Billeter had eight kills, three aces, five digs, and 19 assists; Nelms had six kills and seven digs; Walkington had three aces and four digs; Houser had three aces and four digs; Natalie Neseth had four aces; and Ansyn Brooks had five assists.
Southwest is 8-10 and will host Loomis on Tuesday and travel to Overton on Thursday for a triangular with Alma and Overton.
Sutherland

Wallace traveled to Paxton on Tuesday for two matches. They faced Paxton and Potter-Dix.

On Tuesday, the Broncos traveled to Paxton for a tournament and faced the Tigers and Potter-Dix.
Against Potter-Dix, the Broncos earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-19 and 25-19.
