Alma

Girls

Alma attended the Elm Creek Invite on Friday and placed 13th as a team with 52 points.


At 145 pounds, Ava Dunse placed 3rd, going 4-1 on the day, winning by fall in three matches and one by a 12-8 decision. At 170 pounds, Josa Dunse placed 2nd, winning two matches by fall and one by major decision.


The Cardinals competed at the Shelton Invite on Saturday and placed 8th with 23 points.


Ava Dunse placed 2nd at 145 pounds. At 170 pounds, Josa Dunse placed 3rd, going 2-1 with wins via fall in under 2:00. Kamille Goedert placed 4th at 235 pounds.


Boys

Alma attended the Elm Creek Invite on Friday and placed 11th as a team with 55 points.


At 126 pounds, Josh Russell placed 3rd, going 5-1 on the day, picking up wins by fall in four of his wins. Jackson Gehrig placed 4th at 175 pounds, going 3-1, winning by falls in under 2:30 for two matches and one by decision.


Alma competed at the Shelton Invite on Saturday and placed 7th with 37 points.


At 120 pounds, Bryson Shriver placed 4th, at 126 pounds, Josh Russell placed 4th, and Cooper Quinn placed 4th at 132 pounds.


Arapahoe

The Warriors attended the Superior Invite on Friday and placed 1st as a team with 161.5 points.


At 106 pounds, Gavin Andrews placed 2nd, winning two matches via fall in under 1:20. At 120 pounds, Wyatt Blickenstaff placed 2nd, going 2-1, winning two matches by fall. Hayden Helms placed 3rd at 126 pounds, going 3-1 on the day, and Thomas Magorian also placed 4th. At 132 pounds, Rigley McDonald placed 2nd, going 2-1 for the day. Carter Blickenstaff lost the first match of the day, but fought his way into the consolation match to finish 4th by sudden victory at 138 pounds. Briggs Hill had another strong day, going 3-0 with all three wins by fall, placing 1st at 144 pounds. At 165 pounds, Wyatt Soncksen placed 4th, going 3-2 on the day, getting wins via fall. Trey Downey placed 2nd at 215 pounds, picking up two wins via fall in under 1:00 and one by major decision.

At 106 pounds, Gavin Andrews placed 2nd, going 2-1 on the day. Hayden Helms also placed 2nd, going 2-1 at 120 pounds. At 138 pounds, Carter Blickenstaff placed 1st, going 3-0 with one win via fall and the other two by an 8-6 decision and 6-3 decision. At 144 pounds, Briggs Hill placed 1st, winning three matches by fall and one by tech fall to improve to 35-0 on the year. Trey Downey placed 1st at 285 pounds, going 2-0, winning via fall and a 6-4 decision, and improved to 29-7.


Bertrand

Girls

Bertrand attended the Elm Creek Invite on Friday and placed 22nd as a team with 3 points.


Reeselyn Mumm went 1-2 on the day and picked up a win by fall in 0:29.


Boys

Bertrand attended the SEM Invite on Friday and placed 3rd with 96 points.


At 106 pounds, Carter Jones placed 3rd, going 3-1 on the day, picking up wins by fall in the quarterfinal and consolation semifinal, and a win by a 16-15 decision in the 3rd place match. Dylan Wendell placed 3rd at 120 pounds as he picked up two wins via tech fall, one in the 3rd place match, and one by fall in 1:00. At 132 pounds, Drake Olesen placed 2nd, making his way to the championship match in a timely fashion with falls in under 1:40 and a tech fall. He fell late in the match to finish second, 5:39. Rhett Brown had a great day, placing 1st at 157 pounds, winning by tech fall and fall in under 3:00 in each match to improve to 22-9. At 285 pounds, Rodrigo Estrada placed 3rd, winning his three matches by fall in under 1:45.

Cambridge

The Trojans attended the SEM Invite on Friday and placed 7th with 51.5 points.


At 150 pounds, Micah Gerlach placed 2nd, picking up wins by fall and a 7-1 decision. Colton Perks placed 1st at 165 pounds and kept last week's success rolling, winning by fall or tech fall in under 2:00 and improving to 26-1. At 215 pounds, Trev Burke placed 4th.


Dundy County Stratton

Girls

Dundy County Stratton attended the Perkins County Invite on Tuesday and placed 7th as a team with 26 points.


At 120 pounds, Adeya Hanes placed 4th, picking up two wins by fall. Kirah Baker placed 3rd at 145 pounds, going 3-2 on the day.


The Tigers attended the Chase County Invite on Saturday and placed 11th as a team with 26.5 points.


At 145 pounds, Kirah Baker placed 1st, going 4-0, picking up wins via tech fall and fall to improve to 18-5.


Boys

The Tigers attended the Chase County Invite on Saturday and placed 22nd as a team with 10 points.


At 157 pounds, Klinton Rinne picked up one win via fall in 0:19 and then lost the next two matches to finish his day.

Hi-Line attended the Elm Creek Invite on Friday and placed 22nd as a team with 3 points.

At 190 pounds, Traevyn Koch placed 3rd, going 3-1 and won his matches by fall. At 285 pounds, Tucker Viter placed 3rd, picking up four wins via fall.


Hitchcock County

Hitchcock County attended the Chase County Invite on Saturday and placed 4th as a team with 136.5 points.


At 150 pounds, Samuel Hare placed 4th. Dylan Kollmorgan placed 3rd at 165 pounds, going 4-1 on the day, picking up wins via fall in under 2:00. Jaret Neben placed 3rd at 175 pounds, winning via fall and tech fall, going 5-1. At 190 pounds, Karson Hubl placed 4th. Karson Shuler lost in the semifinal match to Cayson Boltjes of Sidney, who is 22-1. Shuler bounced back to place 3rd at 215 pounds. At 285 pounds, Jayden Loghry placed 2nd, picking up two wins via fall and one by a 4-2 decision.


Maxwell

Girls

Maxwell attended the Perkins County Invite on Tuesday and placed 6th as a team with 32 points.


At 115 pounds, Keilah Curtis placed 4th, and Ceann McIntosh placed 1st at 120 pounds, going 5-0. McIntosh won by major decision or by fall, with all but one being under 1:00.


Boys

Maxwell attended the SEM Invite on Friday and placed 6th with 72 points.


Hunter Schaeffer placed 3rd at 113 pounds, and Ty Davis placed 3rd at 132 pounds. At 190 pounds, Trevor Manka placed 1st with three wins via fall and one by major decision and improved to 25-3. Colt Gosnell placed 1st at 215 pounds, winning by fall in all four matches in under 1:25, improving to 24-4.

Medicine Valley attended the Sandhills/Thedford Invite on Saturday and placed 14th as a team with 6 points.


Jesse Hazen went 3-2 on the day and fell in the consolation semifinals in 3:45 to finish his day one match short of a medal.

Girls

Paxton attended the Perkins County Invite on Tuesday and placed 12th as a team with 20 points.


Skylar Johnson placed 1st at 190 pounds, going 3-0, winning each match by fall.


Paxton attended the Chase County Invite on Saturday and placed 9th as a team with 28 points.


Skylar Johnson placed 1st at 190 pounds, going 3-0 with wins via fall in under 1:35. Johnson improved to 26-8.


Boys

Paxton attended the Chase County Invite on Saturday and placed 20th as a team with 13 points.


Colton Fote placed 6th at 165 pounds.

Girls

Southern Valley/Arapahoe attended the Elm Creek Invite on Friday and placed 2nd as a team with 106.5 points.


At 100 pounds, Cali Santifer placed 2nd, going 2-1, picking up two wins by fall in under 1:20. At 110 pounds, Laney Becker placed 4th, going 3-2 on the day, winning by fall late in the match and losing in a close 12-11 decision in the consolation match. Hayley Serfontein placed 2nd at 115 pounds, suffering her first loss of the season to Zoe Jones of Broken Bow, who is 15-0. At 140 pounds, Natalie Breinig placed 2nd, going 2-1 on the day, picking up wins by fall. Elena Lee placed 4th at 235 pounds, going 2-2 on the day.


Boys

Southern Valley attended the Elm Creek Invite on Friday and placed 8th as a team with 73 points.


At 106 pounds, Bryton Stalder, who improved his record to 22-4, placed 2nd, falling to 29-1 Micahel Hunter of Burwell. Hayden Lans placed 2nd in a 12-10 decision loss to Breckyn Collins of NPSP at 165 pounds. At 190 pounds, Bennett Jorgenson placed 2nd, going 2-1 on the day, picking up wins via fall.


Southwest

Girls

Southwest attended the Perkins County Invite on Tuesday and placed 3rd as a team with 79 points.


At 100 pounds, Capri Sayer placed 1st, winning both matches by fall in under 90 seconds. At 110 pounds, Katie Fegley placed 2nd, falling late in the match at 4:00. Alyssa Koch placed 1st at 115 pounds as she went 3-0 and pinned each opponent in a timely fashion. Tori Hutchinson placed 3rd at 125 opunds going 2-2 on the day. At 140 pounds, Jaidon Kimball placed 4th. Adesha Escobar Salas placed 2nd at 155 pounds, going 2-1 on the day, falling in the final match in 4:31. At 170 pounds, Elisabeth Palos placed 3rd. At 235 pounds, Madelyn Tryon placed 1st and Natalie Koetter placed 2nd.

Alyssa Koch placed 1st at 115 pounds, going 3-0, winning by fall. Adeasha Escobar Salas placed 3rd at 155 pounds, picking up three wins via fall. At 235 pounds, Natalie Koetter placed 2nd, and Madelyn Tryon placed 1st, both picking up wins via fall.

Southwest attended the Elm Creek Invite on Friday and placed 17th as a team with 12 points.


At 157 pounds, Gage Hammond picked up three wins and fell in the consolation semifinals.


Southwest attended the Chase County Invite on Saturday and placed 19th as a team with 20 points.


At 157 pounds, Gage Hammond went 2-2 and ended his day in the consolation third round.

Sutherland traveled to the Ord Invite on Friday and placed 21st as a team with 30 points.


Addison Arvdal placed 1st at 190 pounds, picking up four wins by fall in under 2:00, and remains unbeaten, 28-0.

Boys

Sutherland attended the Elm Creek Invite on Friday and placed 6th as a team with 91 points.


At 120 pounds, Ben Frame placed 3rd, going 5-1 on the day and improved his record to 20-2. Scotty Anderson placed 2nd at 138 pounds, going 3-1 at the tournament. At 144 pounds, Bowen Backer placed 3rd, going 4-1, winning by fall or tech fall in three of his matches. Keith Andersen placed 2nd at 285 pounds, losing to Caden Swanson of Loomis, who is 20-2 on the year.


Wauneta-Palisade

Girls

Wauneta-Palisade attended the Perkins County Invite on Tuesday and placed 5th as a team with 40.5 points.


At 110 pounds, Saviana Carrizales placed 1st, going 3-0, winning by fall in 30 seconds, tech fall, and fall in 4:00. Andrea Almanza placed 2nd at 115 pounds, going 2-1 on the day. At 125 pounds, Ensley Lawless placed 4th, picking up one win by fall in 1:12. At 235 pounds, Amya Keenan placed 3rd.


The Broncos competed at the Chase County Invite on Saturday and placed 10th with 27 points.


At 110 pounds, Andrea Almanza placed 3rd, going 2-2 on the day. Amaya Keenan placed 3rd at 235 pounds, going 2-2.


Boys

Wauneta-Palisade attended the Chase County Invite on Saturday and placed 8th as a team with 94.5 points.


Konner McCrumb placed 3rd at 138 pounds, going 4-1 on the day. David Bryner won four matches to place 1st at 175 pounds and improve to 27-2. At 190 pounds, Kreyton Wiese placed 2nd to Gabe Roberts of McCook, who is 21-3 by fall late in the match, 5:21, and now has a record of 22-3. Colton Koetter placed 4th at 215 pounds.
