The regular season and districts have concluded, and tickets for the state tournament have been purchased. Check out how the RPAC boys teams did in their district tournaments, as well as a recap for the girls who qualified. State tournament information will be available at the end of the blog.

Alma
Alma was in the D-2 District hosted by Elm Creek and placed 20th with 19 points. There were no qualifiers for the Cardinals this year. They had three wrestlers come close, but lost in the consolation semifinals.
Congratulations to Josh Russell, who achieved his 100th career win.
At 120 pounds, Bryson Shriver fell in the consolation semifinals and went 2-2 in the tournament. At 126 pounds, Josh Russell lost by a 3-0 decision, going 2-2 in the tournament. Breckon Johnson lost by a 6-4 decision at 132 pounds after going 5-2 on the tournament.
Arapahoe
Arapahoe was in the D-4 District hosted by Southwest. The Warriors placed 4th with 98 points.
At 106 pounds, Gavin Andrews placed 3rd, going 3-1 in the tournament, to qualify for state. Hayden Helms placed 2nd at 120 pounds, going 2-1 in the tournament to qualify for state. At 144 pounds, Briggs Hill was the district champion, going 4-0 to qualify for state. At 285 pounds, Trey Downey was the district runner-up, going 2-1 in the tournament to qualify for state.
Bertrand
Bertrand was in the D-2 District hosted by Elm Creek and placed 9th with 61.5 points.
At 132 pounds, Drake Olesen placed 3rd to qualify after going 6-1 during the tournament. Brayden Evans was the district champion at 190 pounds, going 3-0 in the tournament.
Cambridge
Cambridge was in the D-4 District, hosted by Southwest. The Trojans placed 6th with 84.5 points.
At 150 pounds, Micah Gerlach was the district champion, going 4-0 in the tournament to qualify for state. Colton Perks was the district champion at 165 pounds, going 4-0 in the tournament to qualify for state.

Dundy County Stratton
Dundy County Stratton was in the D-4 District, hosted by Southwest. The Tigers placed 26th with 9 points. There were no qualifiers for the Tigers this year. At 175 pounds, Aiden Kane lost in round five of the consolation matches by a 6-5 decision.
Hi-Line
Hi-Line was in the D-4 District, hosted by Southwest. The Bulls placed 5th with 96 points.
At 120 pounds, Connor Edwards earned the district champion title, going 3-0 to qualify for state. At 150 pounds, Parker Schutz was the district runner-up, going 3-1 to qualify for state. Gage Rupp was the district runner-up at 157 pounds, going 3-1 to qualify for state.

Hitchcock County
Hitchcock County was in the D-4 District Tournament, hosted by Southwest. The Falcons clinched their first-ever District Championship. They scored 129.5 points.
Samuel Hare placed 4th at 150 pounds, going 4-2 to qualify for the state tournament. At 157 pounds, Cale Graham placed 4th, going 3-2 to qualify for state. Dylan Kollmorgan earned the district runner-up, going 3-1 to qualify for state at 165 pounds. Karson Shuler was the district champion at 215 pounds, going 4-0 to qualify for state. At 285 pounds, Jayden Loghry was the district champion, going 3-0 to qualify for state.

Maxwell
Maxwell was in the D-4 District, hosted by Southwest. The Wildcats placed 10th with 57 points.
At 190 pounds, Trevor Manka was the district champion, going 4-0 in the tournament to qualify for state. At 215 pounds, Colt Gosnell placed 3rd, going 4-1 in the tournament to qualify for state.
Medicine Valley
Medicine Valley was in the D-4 District, hosted by Southwest. The Raiders placed 27th with 7 points. No qualifiers for the Raiders this season. Dakota Douglass went 2-2 in the tournament at 120 pounds.

Paxton
Paxton was in the D-4 District, hosted by Southwest. The Tigers placed 20th with 22 points.
At 175 pounds, Colton Fote went 3-1 in the tournament to earn the district runner-up title and qualify for state.
Southern Valley
Southern Valley was in the D-2 District hosted by Elm Creek and placed 10th with 58 points.
At 106 pounds, Bryton Stalder earned the district runner-up, going 2-1 in the tournament to qualify for state. Hayden Lans placed 3rd at 165 pounds to qualify for the state tournament, going 3-1.

Southwest
Southwest was in the D-4 District and hosted it. The Roughriders placed 25th with 13 points. There were no qualifiers for the Roughriders this season.
Gage Hammond came close to qualifying at 157 pounds but came up short in the consolation semifinals.
Sutherland
Sutherland was in the D-4 District, hosted by Southwest. The Sailors placed 7th with 73 points.
Ben Frame was the district runner-up at 126 pounds, going 3-1 in the tournament to qualify for state. At 138 pounds, Scotty Anderson earned the district champion title, going 4-0 to qualify for state. Keith Andersen placed 4th at 285 pounds, qualifying for state.
Wauenta-Palisade
Wauneta-Palisade was in the D-4 District, hosted by Southwest. The Broncos placed 9th with 60.5 points.

At 175 pounds, David Bryner earned the district champion, going 4-0 to qualify for state. At 190 pounds, Kreyton Wiese earned the district runner-up, going 3-1 to qualify for state.
