The RPAC Rundown was notified on Monday morning that Scott Trimble would be taking over the Medicine Valley Football Program. Trimble currently serves as the Superintendent at Medicine Valley.

Trimble spent 16 seasons at the helm of Arthur County from 1996 to 2011. Then he was at Harvard as the head coach from 2016-2022. Trimble boasts a career record of 143-66 and a playoff record of 25-10.

Along with all of that, he's won a few State Championships. Four at Arthur County in 2000, 2009, 2010, and 2011, and one at Harvard in 2019. All of those teams were undefeated.

He also had runner-up finishes at Arthur County in 2006 and at Harvard in 2019.

"I'm very excited to be back coaching, I thought I was ready to move on, but now that I have the opportunity again, definitely ready to get back to it," said Trimble.

"Building a program and developing young boys into dependable, hard-working young men who are leaders has always been very important to me.  Coaching provides those opportunities more than any other way you can interact with students and I truly missed those connections," added Trimble.

As many know, Trimble is heavily involved in the EPIC Team Camps that have been around since the Summer of 2014. Trimble says that the camps have allowed him to stay connected to the game in a variety of ways. "Doing EPIC football camps is not only a really fun way to spend a part of the summer, but it has kept me connected to 6-man, the coaches, and many of the players.  Now getting to compete against those coaches and players will be a great experience this fall!"

Medicine Valley went 0-8 this past season, their first in the 6-man ranks. They competed incredibly hard and hung with some teams throughout the year.

Medicine Valley has lost 25 games in a row. Their last win was in the regular season finale on October 15th, 2021, when they beat Maywood-Hayes Center 70-8.
