Seven RPAC Teams Compete at Southern Valley on Friday

Southern Valley hosted Alma, Bertrand, Dundy County Stratton, Hi-Line, Medicine Valley, and Southwest on a windy and hot Friday afternoon. It's not your typical late March weather, but we will take it. We also saw some school records broken. Let's dive into the results.

BOYS RESULTS

In the 100-meter dash, Adi Hunt of Southern Valley set a new school record with her 1st place finish and time of 12.07.
Placing 2nd in the 100-meter dash was Clara Spargo with a time of 12.28, Alyssa Koch of Southwest placed 3rd with a time of 13.65, Rylan Custard of Southwest placed 4th with a time of 13.70, Brecklyn Hammond of Southern Valley placed 5th with a time of 13.72, Allison VanPelt of Southwest placed 6th with a time of 14.02, Ellaray Koch of Hi-Line placed 7th with a time of 14.05, and Sophia Cunningham of Southern Valley placed 8th with a time of 14.11.
In the 200-meter dash, Hunt of Southern Valley also set a new school record with her 1st-place finish time of 24.57, Spargo of DCS placed 2nd with a time of 24.90, Custard of Southwest placed 3rd with a time of 28.28, Natalee Holstee of Southern Valley placed 4th with a time of 29.36, VanPelt of Southwest placed 5th with a time of 30.01, Cunningham of Southern Valley placed 6th with a time of 30.05, Kamree Elsten of Medicine Valley placed 7th with a time of 30.22, and Maryah Oberg of Hi-Line placed 8th with a time of 31.25.

Hi-Line hosts their home meet in Elwood on Tuesday, April 1st. Alma, Bertrand, Medicine Valley, and Southwest also attend that meet. DCS will be back in action on Saturday, April 5th at Perkins County.
