Southern Valley Hosts Eight Teams at Home Meet on Friday

Southern Valley hosted their home track meet on Friday and had several RPAC schools in attendance including Alma, Bertrand, Dundy County Stratton, Medicine Valley, and Southwest. Check out how the meet went in the blog below.


No team scores were kept at this meet so let's dive right into the boys' results.



In the 100m dash, Laken Wissink of DCS placed 2nd with a time of 11.32, Jackson Kerchal of DCS placed 3rd with a time of 11.63, Blaine Aldridge of DCS placed 4th with a time of 11.71, Brody Senff of Medicine Valley placed 5th with a time of 12.11, Kayden Hatfield of Bertrand placed 12.19, and Nathan Rippe of Southwest placed 7th with a time of 12.28.


In the 200m dash, Aldridge of DCS placed 2nd with a time of 23.91, Wissink of DCS placed 3rd with a time of 24.19, Trenton Williams of Southwest placed 5th with a time of 24.78, Senff of Medicine Valley placed 6th with a time of 24.81, and Aiden Jones of Medicine Valley placed 8th with a time of 25.86.


In the 400m dash, Rippe of Southwest placed 1st with a time of 56.75, Preston Howart of Southern Valley placed 4th with a time of 59.75, and Josiah Dowell of Southern Valley placed 8th with a time of 68.26.


In the 800m run, Mitchel Stritt of Southwest placed 1st with a time of 2:16.48, Isaac Hamilton of Southern Valley placed 2nd with a time of 2:20.61, Bladyn Herrick of Alma placed 3rd with a time of 2:27.17, Jacob Barber of Southwest placed 4th with a time of 2:32.05, Nolan Pfeil of Alma placed 6th with a time of 2:39.53, Vaughn Fennel of Alma placed 7th with a time of 2:49.01, and Diego Alvarez of DCS placed 8th with a time of 3:10.16.


In the 1600m run, Kael Garrett of Medicine Valley placed 1st with a time of 4:55.56, Marcus Hernandez of Bertrand placed 2nd with a time of 5:16.05, Pfeil of Alma placed 5th with a time of 5:50.39, Creighton Lynch of Alma placed 6th with a time of 5:51.10, Davis Clark of Alma placed 7th with a time of 5:55.05, and Shya Gudaitis of Medicine Valley placed 8th with a time of 5:57.59.


In the 3200m run, Garrett of Medicine Valley placed 1st with a time of 10:50.85, Hernandez of Bertrand placed 2nd with a time of 11:27.92, Austin Thompson of Southwest placed 4th with a time of 11:56.09, Clark of Alma placed 5th with a time of 13:14.00, Creston Wagner of Bertrand placed 6th with a time of 13:50.74, and Noah Koch of Southwest placed 7th with a time of 16:39.11.


In the 110m hurdles, Kevin Garcia Guzman of DCS placed 1st with a time of 16.39, Zavier Mitchell of Alma placed 2nd with a time of 16.79, Thunder Nelson of Bertrand placed 3rd with a time of 17.65, and Landon Wilhelm of Alma placed 5th with a time of 20.21.


In the 300m hurdles, Garcia Guzman of DCS placed 1st with a time of 43.36, Mitchell of Alma placed 2nd with a time of 44.77, Wilhelm of Alma placed 4th with a time of 47.41, and Eric Wood of Bertrand placed 5th with a time of 48.45.

In the 4x100m relay, Bertrand placed 2nd with a time of 46.71 and was run by Wood, Chase Vosler, Hatfield, and Cooper Langford. Medicine Valley placed 4th with a time of 48.10 and was run by Austin Roblee, Mason Roblee, Senff, and Jones. Alma placed 5th with a time of 49.60 and was run by Zane Clark, Isaiah Neal, Landon Wilhelm, and Gavin Dunse. Southern Valley placed 6th with a time of 54.24 and was run by Tylor Grove, Hayden Lans, Gabe Grove, and Sam Bantam.


In the 4x400m relay, Southwest took 1st with a time of 3:56.10 and was run by Barber, Rippe, Williams, and Stritt. Alma placed 4th with a time of 4:06.12 and was run by Herrick, Neal, Mitchell, and Dunse. Southern Valley placed 5th with a time of 4:10.15 Hamilton, Bantam, Dowell, and Howart. Medicine Valley placed 6th with a time of 4:24.40 and was run by M. Roblee, Ethan Brown, Gudaitis, and Lucas Einspahr.


In the 4x800m relay, Alma placed 1st with a time of 9:57.21 and was run by Neal, Pfeil, Fennel, and Lynch. Southwest placed 2nd with a time of 10:14.40 and was run by Barber, Thompson, Gavin Hammond, and Jakub Walz.


In shot put, Brock Bailey of DCS placed 1st with a throw of 53'6.50", Carlos Diaz of DCS placed 3rd with a throw of 41'3.5", Derek Noffsinger of DCS placed 5th with a throw of 39'10.5", Spencer Gehrig of Alma placed 6th with a toss of 39'3.25", A. Roblee of Medicine Valley placed 7th with a toss of 37'5.5", and G. Grove of Southern Valley placed 8th with a toss of 36'6.5".


In the discus, Bailey of DCS placed 2nd with a toss of 141'1", Gehrig of Alma placed 3rd with a toss of 118'3", Ryan Maly of Alma placed 4th with a toss of 115'10", G. In the 200m dash, Spargo took 1st place with a time of 26.51, Hunt of Southern Valley took 2nd with a time of 26.56, Rose of Medicine Valley placed 3rd with a time of 28.62, Kamryn Scott of Alma placed 5th with a time of 29.78, Natalee Holste of Southern Valley placed 7th with a time of 30.38, and Kaitlyn Bradley of Alma placed 8th with a time of 30.58.


In the 400m dash, Hunt of Southern Valley placed 1st with a time of 60.94, Scott of Alma placed 2nd with a time of 65.94, Lexie Yrkoski of DCS placed 3rd with a time of 68.63, and Hayley Serfontein of Southern Valley placed 5th with a time of 71.98.


In the 800m run, Tayley Becker of Southern Valley placed 1st with a time of 2:52.14, Yrkoski of DCS placed 3rd with a time of 3:07.01, Elizabeth Dubbs of Alma placed 5th with a time of 3:11.63, Jodiya Phillips of Medicine Valley placed 6th with a time of 3:23.22, Marlene Ortega of DCS placed 7th with a time of 3:39.64, and Sydney Baker of Alma placed 8th with a time of 3:43.54.



In the 1600m run, Becker of Southern Valley placed 1st with a time of 6:43.37, Harper Fennel of Alma placed 3rd with a time of 6:48.33, Ashlynn Edgren of Bertrand placed 4th with a time of 7:07.50, and Hayden Deyle of Alma placed 5th with a time of 7:07.90.


In the 3200m run, Fennel of Alma placed 1st with a time of 14:54.73, Edgren of Bertrand placed 2nd with a time of 16:11.26, and Deyel of Alma placed 3rd with a time of 17:21.71.


In the 100m hurdles, Moore of Alma placed 1st with a time of 16.72, Anastasia Gallegos of Southwest placed 2nd with a time of 17.63, Brecklyn Hammond of Southern Valley placed 3rd with a time of 18.85, Kamri Neal of Alma placed 4th with a time of 19.46, Livia Philips of Bertrand placed 5th with a time of 20.26, and Jadyn Wayman of Southern Valley placed 6th with a time of 21.30.

In the 4x100m relay, Southwest placed 1st with a time of 54.83 and was run by Truksa, Allison Van Pelt, Alyssa Koch, and Gallegos. Southern Valley placed 3rd with a time of 57.68 and was run by Hammond, Vanesa Aguayo, Holste, and Lorelie Stewart. Medicine Valley placed 5th with a time of 58.77 and was run by Rose, Remmi Stout, Elsten, and Heapy. Alma placed 6th with a time of 59.13 and was run by Samantha Stone, Miley Whitney, Bradley, and Scott.


In the 4x400m relay, Alma took 1st place with a time of 4:41.13 and was run by Addison Siebels, Chayse Molzahn, Moore, and Scott. Southern Valley placed 2nd with a time of 4:51.31 and was run by Serfontein, Howart, Becker, and Holste. Southwest placed 3rd with a time of 4:58.14 and was run by Adams, Van Pelt, Truksa, and Bryn Lampe. Medicine Valley placed 6th with a time of 5:27.04 and was run by Delaney Evans, Kenley Cole, Phillips, and Giavanna Doyle.


In the 4x800m relay, Alma placed 1st with a time of 11:56.10 and was run by Dubbs, Siebels, Fennel, and Molzahn. Southwest placed 2nd with a time of 12:52.71 and was run by Anikka Nelms, Kyra Nelms, Adams, and Aubrie Seybold.


In shot put, Stout of Medicine Valley placed 1st with a throw of 31'9.5", Brynn Baily of Southern Valley placed 3rd with a throw of 31'8", Gracey Hinson of Bertrand placed 4th with a throw of 30'4.5", Atleigh Nelms of Southwest placed 5th with a throw of 30'2.25", Tori Bose of Southern Valley placed 6th with a throw of 28'2", and Sienna Houghtelling of Medicine Valley placed 8th with a throw of 27'10.75".


In the discus, Baily of Southern Valley placed 1st with a toss of 109'11", Stout of Medicine Valley placed 2nd with a toss of 102'5", Hinson of Bertrand placed 3rd with a toss of 95'3", Houghtelling of Medicine Valley placed 4th with a throw of 94'10", Seybold of Southwest placed 5th with a toss of 88'11", T. In high jump, A. In the long jump, Hunt of Southern Valley placed 1st with a jump of 16'7", A. In the triple jump, Heapy of Medicine Valley placed 1st with a time of 32'9", Howart of Southern Valley placed 2nd with a jump of 30'5", Holste of Southern Valley placed 3rd with a jump of 30'4.75", Lampe of Southwest placed 4th with a jump of 30'1.75", and Serfontein of Southern Valley placed 5th with a jump of 26'8.75".


Teams will be back in action next week with Alma, Bertrand, Medicine Valley, Southern Valley, and Southwest competing at Hi-Line on Thursday. Dundy County Stratton will be at Perkins County on Thursday.
