  • The Wolves of Maywood-Hayes Center bounced back nicely in shootout fashion in their 59-50 win over Silver Lake. Hayden Kramer was effective with 200 yards passing and 276 yards rushing with nine touchdowns as well to lead the way.

  • The Southwest Roughriders lost a tight one against Wilcox-Hildreth last Thursday. The Roughriders went into the final quarter down 14-0. Southwest reeled off 28 points, but the Falcons scored 18 of their own to seal the win. Hunter Blume had 51 yards and a touchdown for the Roughriders who are now 2-1.

  • Wallace lost in a tough one to Garden County, 20-8. Carson Glunz had a nice game with 142 yards rushing and a touchdown. Head coach of the Wildcats, Eric Miller, had this to say about the matchup. "Hats off to Garden County. They came to Wallace and frustrated us. They were a physical team that played good team defense and blocked well. We will need to get after it in practice to get ready for South Platte next week."

  • Wauneta-Palisade won their matchup against Sioux City, 33-12. Kyle Jutten had another nice game for the Broncos with 125 yards and two touchdowns. Grayden Sutherland was excellent on defense with a nine tackle performance.
