In the bottom half of the first inning the Saints got on the board first as Kaitlyn Bradley singled to score Hayden Deyle. That was the first of 10 runs as the Saints were dialed in at the plate. On Thursday, August 27, 2026, we had our first coverage for the volleyball season. It featured a matchup between Wauneta-Palisade and Hitchcock County. In the first set, Wauneta-Palisade jumped out to a 12-4 lead. But Hitchcock County was able to climb back into it and get it within five at 15 to 10.
