Alma Boys and Cambridge Girls Take Team Titles at Dale Harsin Invite

Alma hosted the Dale Harsin Invite on Thursday with great weather, and with that came excellent marks. Eight RPAC schools were in attendance: Alma, Arapahoe, Bertrand, Cambridge, Hi-Line, Medicine Valley, Southern Valley, and Southwest. Cambridge girls took home the team title as well as the Alma boys. Adi Hunt of Southern Valley and Zavier Mitchell of Alma unanimously won the Most Outstanding Female and Male Athlete Awards, which the coaches voted on.

In the 100-meter dash, Adi Hunt of Southern Valley placed 1st with a new meet record time of 12.20, JoLie Farr of Cambridge placed 2nd with a time of 13.02, Alyssa Koch of Southwest placed 4th with a time of 13.44, Rylan Custard of Southwest placed 5th with a time of 13.54, and Kamree Elsten of Medicine Valley placed 6th with a time of 13.65.
In the 200-meter dash, Hunt of Southern Valley set a new meet record with a time of 25.08, Farr of Cambridge placed 2nd with a time of 26.69, Ruby McCune of Arapahoe placed 3rd with a time of 27.32, Custard of Southwest placed 4th with a time of 27.91, and Vayden Epp of Alma placed 5th with a time of 27.91.
In the 400-meter dash, record number three of the day came for Hunt as she placed 1st with a time of 57.06, Kamryn Scott of Alma placed 2nd with a time of 61.48, Desi Farner of Arapahoe placed 3rd with a time of 62.14, Farr of Cambridge placed 4th with a time of 62.99, Emercen Lovitt of Southern Valley placed 5th with a time of 66.74, and Jensyn Weiss of Cambridge placed 6th with a time of 66.93.
In the 800-meter run, Scott of Alma placed 1st with a time of 2:24.30, Rachel Harris of Cambridge placed 2nd with a time of 2:25.32, Shelby Schoene of Bertrand placed 3rd with a time of 2:29.82, and Briar Gunderson of Cambridge placed 6th with a time of 2:46.21.
