RPAC Boys Track Results as of 5/5


RPAC track teams wrapped up their regular seasons and are now making their final preparations for the district meet in hopes of punching their tickets to the state track meet. Check out how teams did closing out the regular season.

The Best of the Midwest is a qualification meet. The top 8 in each event will compete but if there is a tie for the 8th position, all individuals tied will compete while they only distribute medals to the top 3. The RPAC was well-represented at this meet.


In the 100m dash, Laken Wissink of DCS placed 4th with a time of 11.16 and Carlos Romero of MHC placed 8th with a time of 11.51.


In the 200m dash, Blaine Aldridge of DCS placed 6th with a time of 24.05 and Brody Senff of Medicine Valley placed 8th with a time of 24.93.


In the 400m dash, Tayten Koeppen of Cambridge placed 5th with a time of 52.90 and Jesse Reyes of Maxwell placed 6th with a time of 53.51.


In the 800m run, Jerry Ingison of MHC placed 3rd with a new co-op record of 2:02.57 and Kael Garrett of Medicine Valley placed 4th with a time of 2:03.67.


In the 1600m run, Austin Thompson of Southwest placed 4th with a time of 5:19.21 and Landon Drews of Paxton placed 5th with a time of 5:20.56.


In the 3200m run, Carson Trompke of Cambridge placed 3rd with a time of 10:18.47 and Max Hanson of Wallace placed 8th with a time of 11:28.03.


In the 110m hurdles, Kevin Garcia Guzman of DCS placed 5th with a time of 15.62 and Zavier Mitchell of Alma placed 7th with a time of 15.83.


In the 300m hurdles, Garcia Guzman of DCS placed 4th with a time of 41.86 and Mitchell of Alma placed 7th with a time of 43.87.



In the 4x100m relay, Maxwell placed 4th with a time of 45.50 which was run by Levi Huffman, Jacob Leighton, Reyes, and Colt Gosnell. Cambridge placed 6th with a time of 47.01 which was run by Krayton Ruggles, Ben Hoberty, Brady Ahlemeyer, and Koeppen. Paxton also qualified in this event but was disqualified.


In the 4x400m relay, MHC placed 5th with a new co-op record time of 3:38.03 which was run by Oliver Anders, Jaxson Anders, Gage Gerlach, and Ingison. Cambridge placed 6th with a time of 3:39.19 which was run by Hoberty, Ruggles, Wyatt Jackson, and Koeppen. Southwest placed 8th with a time of 3:45.30 which was run by Jacob Barber, Trenton Williams, Nathan Rippe, and Mitchel Stritt.


In the 4x800m relay, Cambridge placed 4th with a time of 9:00.27 which was run by Hoberty, Gavin Gunderson, Jackson, and Trompke. Southwest placed 6th with a time of 9:21.94 which was run by Barber, Jakub Walz, Stritt, and Thompson.


In the shot put, Brock Bailey of DCS placed 2nd with a throw of 54'0.75".


In the discus, Bailey of DCS placed 6th with a toss of 135'9".


In high jump, Trenton Roskop of Arapahoe placed 2nd with a jump of 5'11", Bladyn Herrick of Alma placed 4th with a jump of 5'11", and Mason Roblee of Medicine Valley placed 8th with a jump of 5'7".


In pole vault, Gage Hammond of Southwest qualified but didn't make opening height and Aiden Jones of Medicine Valley qualified but didn't compete.


In long jump, Mitchell of Alma placed 1st with a jump of 22'3.5".


In the triple jump, Ingison of MHC placed 8th with a jump of 39'8".

In the 110m hurdles, Jaxon Unrein placed 5th with a time of 18.44 and Samuel Hare placed 8th with a time of 20.13.


In the 300m hurdles, Unrein placed 1st with a time of 42.80.



In the 4x100m relay, Hitchcock County placed 7th with a time of 51.06 which was run by Carter Propp, Hare, Wade Wagner, and Dylan Kollmorgen.


In the 4x400m relay, Hitchcock County placed 5th with a time of 3:54.10 which was run by Hauxwell, Unrein, Kollmorgen, and Connor Latta.


In the discus, Adam Kisker placed 4th with a toss of 137'6".


In high jump, Hauxwell placed 2nd with a jump of 5'8" and Neben was in a 3-way tie for 8th with a jump of 5'2".

In high jump, Ashtin Johns tied for 7th with a jump of 4'8".


In the long jump, Valadez placed 6th with a jump of 18'4".


In triple jump, Melton placed 8th with a jump of 34'3.5".

In the 800m run, Kade Broz of MHC placed 6th with a time of 2:27.51, Konner McCrumb of Wauneta-Palisade placed 7th with a time of 2:31.85, and Gene Rutherford of MHC placed 8th with a time of 2:41.69.


In the 1600m run, Lucas Mahanes of MHC placed 4th with a time of 5:32.03 and Gabriel McCrumb of Wauneta-Palisade placed 8th with a time of 6:23.59.


In the 110m hurdles, Kevin Garcia Guzman of DCS placed 3rd with a time of 15.77 and Sawyer Dibbern placed 5th with a time of 18.71.


In the 300m hurdles, Garcia Guzman of DCS placed 2nd with a time of 43.51, Kody Schwenk of MHC placed 6th with a time of 48.39, and Grady Erickson of MHC placed 7th with a time of 53.84.



In the 4x100m relay, DCS placed 2nd and set a new school record with a time of 44.41 which was run by Wissink, Aldridge, Garcia Guzman, and Kerchal. MHC placed 4th with a time of 46.93 which was run by Jaxson Anders, Gage Gerlach, Ryan Werkmeister, and Romero. Wauneta-Palisade placed 5th with a time of 50.09 which was run by Kameran McCrumb, Casey Walker, Konner McCrumb, and T. McCrumb.


In the 4x400m relay, MHC placed 3rd with a time of 3:55.05 which was run by J. Anders, O. Anders, Gerlach, and Ingison. Wauneta-Palisade placed 4th with a time of 4:27.26 which was run by Konner McCrumb, Kameran McCrumb, G. McCrumb, and Luke Sims.


In the 4x800m relay, MHC placed 3rd with a time of 10:24.61 which was run by Mahanes, Braydon Cox, Rutherford, and Broz.


In shot put, Brock Bailey of DCS placed 1st with a throw of 53'2.75", Carlos Diaz of DCS placed 5th with a throw of 42'9.5", Derek Noffsinger of DCS placed 6th with a throw of 38'7.5", and Gerlach placed 7th with a throw of 37'8".


In discus, Bailey of DCS placed 4th with a toss of 138'8", Diaz of DCS placed 7th with a toss of 114'9", and Draven Miner of Wauneta-Palisade placed 8th with a toss of 114'5".


In high jump, Kerchal of DCS placed 1st with a jump of 6'0" and Shaw of DCS placed 2nd with a jump of 5'4".


In pole vault, Konner McCrumb of Wauneta-Palisade placed 4th with a vault of 10'0".


In long jump, Kerchal of DCS placed 2nd with a jump of 21'1", Noah Zoltenko of DCS placed 3rd with a jump of 21'0" which set a DCS a new freshmen class record, Shaw of DCS placed 6th with a jump of 19'7", and Dibbern of MHC placed 8th with a jump of 18'5.5".


In triple jump, Ingison of MHC placed 5th with a jump of 38'10.5", T. McCrumb of Wauneta-Palisade placed 6th with a jump of 37'6.75", Zoltenko of DCS placed 7th with a jump of 36'10", and Steven Werkmeister of MHC placed 8th with a jump of 35'7.5".

The meet was called off with three events remaining due to the weather.


In the 100m dash, Wyatt Walker placed 3rd with a time of 11.88, Gunnar Foster placed 4th with a time of 12.04, and Maddex McConnell was in a 3-way tie for 6th with a time of 12.50.


In the 200m dash, Foster placed 3rd with a time of 25.02 and Walker placed 4th with a time of 25.04.


In the 400m dash, Noah Coppersmith placed 4th with a time of 60.41.


In the 800m run, Jasper Brewster placed 4th with a time of 2:40.25 and Preston Runge placed 6th with a time of 2:45.56.


In the 1600m run, Landon Drews placed 6th with a time of 5:46.44.



In the 4x800m relay, Paxton placed 1st with a time of 10:16.69 which was run by Tanner Hebblethwaite, Brewster, Coppersmith, and Drews.


In shot put, Kayden Vazquez placed 4th with a throw of 36'11.5", John Fricke placed 5th with a throw of 36'6", and Kobe Florom placed 6th with a throw of 35'6.5".


In discus, Florom placed 5th with a toss of 102'0", Fricke placed 7th with a toss of 94'7.5", and Vazquez placed 8th with a toss of 90'2".


In pole vault, Foster placed 4th with a vault of 9'0" and Colin Grundligh tied for 7th with a vault of 7'6".

State Qualifications:

Class C

  • INDIVIDUAL RUNNING EVENTS: The winner of first place and second place in each event will qualify for the state meet, plus the next SIX fastest times of the non-qualifiers at any place (3rd-8th), regardless of place in a finals event. There shall be a maximum of 24 qualifiers.

  • RELAY EVENTS: The winner of first place in each event will qualify for the state meet, plus the next SEVEN fastest times of the non-qualifiers at any place (2nd-8th), regardless of place in a finals event, with a maximum of 16 relay teams qualifying.

  • FIELD EVENTS (LONG JUMP, TRIPLE JUMP, SHOT PUT, DISCUS): The winner of first place and second place in each event will qualify for the state meet, plus the next SIX best performances of the non-qualifiers across all districts. In case of a tie for the last qualifying spot, all of those tied shall qualify.

  • FIELD EVENTS (POLE VAULT, HIGH JUMP): The winner of first place and second place in each event will qualify for the state meet, plus all who equal or exceed the additional qualifier mark at the 2024 NSAA Class C District Track Meet.

    • Boys High Jump Additional Qualifier Mark: 6'1"

    • Girls High Jump Additional Qualifier Mark: 5'2"

    • Boys Pole Vault Additional Qualifier Mark: 13'0"

    • Girls Pole Vault Additional Qualifier Mark: 10'0"


Class D
