It was another action-packed week of football for the RPAC. Let's take a look at the RPAC Rundown Football Scoreboard brought to you by MNB Realty

Alma vs Pleasanton


The Cardinals got a big bounce-back win as they took down Pleasanton, 52-30. The Cardinals did their work in the second and third quarters, scoring 50 of their 52 points. As a team, they had 172 yards passing and 233 yards rushing. Zavier Mitchell was 12-18 with 172 yards and two touchdowns and one interception thrown.


Tucker Biskup had 61 yards receiving, Grady Faimon had 85 and a score, and Zane Clark had 26 yards and a touchdown.


On the ground, Mitchell was effective; 135 yards and two scores. Miles Ford had 74 yards rushing and three touchdowns, and Isaiah Neal added 22 yards.


On defense, Isaiah Neal had nine tackles, Banks Hammond had 12, and Ryan Maly had seven. Alma moves to 1-1 and will be at Sandy Creek on Friday.






Arapahoe vs Bertrand


Arapahoe faced Bertrand and fell in the game, 46-12. Arapahoe struck first on a one-yard rush from Briggs Hill. Bertrand, then reeled off 46 points from quarters one through three. In the fourth quarter, Arapahoe scored one more time as Hill found Hudson Sich on a three-yard pass.


Arapahoe ended up with 109 yards rushing and 48 yards passing. Hill carried the ball 36 times for 104 yards and a touchdown. He had 48 yards and a touchdown passing. Rigley McDonald had 34 yards receiving and Hudson Sich had 14 yards and a touchdown.


Hill led the tackling effort too with 10.5.


At the time of writing this, stats from Bertrand were not available.


Arapahoe is now 0-2 and will play at Arcadia/Loup City on Friday.


Bertrand starts 2-0 and will host Brady on Friday.


Cambridge vs Franklin


The Trojans went to Franklin on Friday and won big, 60-32. Cambridge toted the rock for 386 yards and eight scores. Brady Ahlemeyer had 85 yards rushing and three touchdowns, Micah Gelach had 122 yards on the ground with two scores, and Krayton Ruggles had 166 yards and three touchdowns.


Gerlach was 6-11 passing with 48 yards and a touchdown. Hodge Raburn had two catches for 15 yards and a touchdown. On defense, Colton Perks had nine tackles to lead Cambridge. Perks, Myles Stanton, and Trev Burke had a sack.


For Franklin, Calvin Carraher had 95 yards passing, 99 yards rushing, and four total scores.


Cambridge moves to 2-0 and will host Axtell on Friday.



Dundy County Stratton vs Bridgeport


The Tigers, #2 in D1, had a test on Friday night as Bridgeport came to town. The Tigers, though, handled business and won big 42-16.


DCS will host Sutherland on Thursday, which will be an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup.


Hi-Line vs South Loup


Talk about bouncing back. Hi-Line went on the road to play South Loup and came away with a 28-6 victory. Brody Diefenbaugh went 6-8 passing with 94 yards and a touchdown, had 67 yards rushing, and three touchdowns.


Gage Rupp added 48 yards rushing and Chase Beitler had 37 yards. Beitler had 71 yards receiving and a score too. On defense, Traevyn Koch had 10 tackles to lead the way. Beitler and Karter Tilson each had eight tackles.


Hi-Line is 1-1 and will be at Ravenna on Friday.






Hitchcock County vs Maxwell


The Falcons and the Wildcats battled on Friday night. Hitchcock County won 66-12. This was an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup, and you can read the full story here.


Maxwell, now 1-1, will host Maywood-Hayes Center on Thursday.


Hitchcock County, now 2-0, will host Franklin on Thursday.


Maywood-Hayes Center vs Mullen


Maywood-Hayses Center hosted Mullen on Thursday. The Wolves lost the game, 35-16. MHC was up after one quarter, 8-7. But the Broncos took control and never looked back, scoring 21 unanswered.


Kade Broz had 88 yards passing and a touchdown, and an interception. Sawyer Dibbrn had 25 carries, 113 yards, and a touchdown on the ground. Olliver Anders had 66 yards receiving and a touchdown. Kade Broz had 15 tackles, Bentley Broz had 13 tackles, and Sawyer Dibbern had 12.


MHC is now 0-2 and will go to Maxwell on Friday.





Medicine Valley vs Arthur County


Medicine Valley opened the season against a top-10 team in D6, Arthur County. The Raiders dropped the game 44-8. At the time of writing this, stats were not provided.


The Raiders have another top-10 opponent as they will host Garden County, who is regarded by many as the #1 team, on Thursday.

Paxton vs South Platte


Paxton went to Big Springs to play South Platte on Thursday. The Tigers dropped the game, 50-7. At the time of writing this, stats were not provided.


Paxton is 0-2 and will host Minatare on Friday, which is an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup.


Southwest vs Harvard


Southwest had its season opener at home, and the #7 Roughriders played Harvard. The Roughriders won 69-12. Southwest scored 56 of those points in the first half. Houston Billeter was 3-4 with 49 yards and two touchdowns. He also had two carries for 75 yards and two scores. Gage Hammond had 10 yards receiving and a score, Damario Koetter had 21 yards receiving, and Jacob Barber had 18 yards and a touchdown.


On the ground, Barber had 64 yards and a score, Bo Truksa had 53 yards and a touchdown, and Conner Weaver had 23 yards and a touchdown.


As a team, 223 yards on the ground.


Truksa led the Roughriders with nine tackles. Brody Hammond had an interception.


Southwest is now 1-0 and will go to #6 Arthur Couty for a big game on Friday.

Southern Valley vs Arcadia/Loup City


Southern Valley went on the road to play Arcadia/Loup City on Friday. The Eagles fought hard but dropped the game, 48-38. At the time of writing this, stats were not provided.


Southern Valley is now 0-2 and will host Sutton on Friday.






Sutherland vs North Platte St. Pat's


Sutherland played another tough opponent on Friday, this time the North Platte St. Pat's Irish. The Sailors fell in the game, 56-8. At the time of writing this, stats were not provided.


Sutherland is 0-2 and will play at Dundy County Stratton on Thursday, which is an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup.


Wallace vs Creek Valley


The #6 Wildcats continued their strong play on Thursday at they went to Creek Valley and won 48-12. The Wildcats scored 46 of those points in the first half, securing the win early.


Colt Franklin was 1-1 with a touchdown pass to Brayden Gardner. On the ground, Tyson Sullivan had 84 yards rushing and two touchdowns, Tobin Pelster had 49 yards rushing, and Ashtin Johns had 79 yards and a touchdown. Gardner had a rushing touchdown, too.


Defensively, Johns and Gardner had eight tackles; Ivan Aceves, Colby Holm, and Sullivan each had six tackles.


Wallace is 2-0 and will host South Platte on Friday.




Wauneta-Palisade vs Fleming, CO


Wauneta-Palisade played Fleming, CO on Friday and won big 34-6. Wyatt Hilbert was 5-8 passing with 65 yards. On the ground, Kreyton Wiese had 137 yards and three scores. David Bryner added 55 yards and a touchdown. Case Walker had 36 yards too. Wyatt Hilbert had a receiving touchdown from Nathan Hiett, too.


On defense, Bryner had 14 tackles, and Casey Walker had nine tackles. Draven Miner had a sack.


Wauneta-Palisade is 2-0 and will face Flagler, C,O on the road Friday.
