RPAC Rundown Football Results as of 10/4

We have a few weeks left in the regular season and the games mean more. Let's dive into the blog, and the Football Scoreboard, brought to you by MNB Realty.

Elm Creek @ Alma
Alma has moved to 5-1 as they beat Elm Creek on Friday, 45-44. This was another for the Cardinals as they continue their winning ways. For the Cardinals, Drew Lewis had another big game as he went 16-26 with 278 yards passing, six touchdowns, and one interception thrown. The running game was a bit of a struggle for the Cardinals as they were only able to get 20 yards rushing. The Cardinals' leading receivers were Crew Bennett with 72 yards and a touchdown, Archer Goosic with 78 yards and three touchdowns, and Banks Hammond with 74 yards and two touchdowns.
On defense, Banks Hammond had 17 tackles, Grady Faimon had 12 tackles, and Wyatt Martin had 15 tackles for the Cardinals. Also, Eric Dickie had an interception, and Cooper Quinn had an interception as well.
Alma moves to 5-1 on the season with a big game on the road on Friday at Ravenna.

Arapahoe @ South Loup
After a tough loss last week to Bertrand, Arapahoe looked to bounce back. And they did in a big way by beating South Loop 38-0. The Warriors had big games from Briggs Hill and others. Hill led the Warriors with 125 yards passing and two touchdowns and 109 yards rushing and one touchdown. Rigley McDonald had 69 yards rushing and a touchdown and 60 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
On defense, Briggs Hill had 14 tackles, MaKaden Dunn had 12 tackles, and Rigley McDonald had 11. Trey Downey recorded one sack.
The Warriors are back to .500, 3-3 on the season, and have another tough district game as they will host Wilcox-Hildreth on Friday.

Bertrand @ Loomis
The Bertrand Vikings had a rival rematch against Loomis last Thursday and fell in a heartbreaker. The Vikings lost 20-18 after leading for most of the game. At the time of writing this article, no stats were available for the Vikings. Bertrand is now 4-2 on the season and will host South Loup on Friday, looking to bounce back and get a victory.
Blue Hill @ Cambridge
Folks, I'll be the first to say it. I didn't know if Cambridge could win this game against Blue Hill. Not only did they win it, but they dominated, winning 44 to 22. Cambridge, Braxton Mitchell threw for 123 yards and three touchdowns, and rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Cambridge got a big game from Cole Cobb. He had 11 carries for 113 yards and a touchdown. As a team, Cambridge had 220 yards rushing and averaged 8.1 yards per carry.
Roy Hoelscher was the go-to receiver, with 85 yards and three touchdowns. On defense, Braxton Mitchell had an interception, and so did Roy Hoelscher. Mitchell led the team with 20 tackles; Connor Long and Ben Harris each had 17, and Cole Cobb had 12.
Blue Hill found success running the ball, rushing for 361 yards and averaging 6.9 yards per carry. Cale Hesman led the way with 281 yards rushing and a touchdown.
Cambridge moves to 5-1 on the season, and they have a Furnas County rivalry on Friday when they go to Southern Valley. That will be an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup.

Sutherland @ Dundy County Stratton
Sutherland made the trip to Dundy County Stratton on Friday for a matchup on the gridiron. Dundy County Stratton won, 62-8. At the time of writing, Sutherland stats were not available. For the Tigers, they had 473 yards rushing as a team. Noah Zoltan had 216 yards and three touchdowns, Trent Unger had 11 carries for 184 yards and five touchdowns, and Henry Blecha had 66 yards and a touchdown.
On defense, Tagen Yrkoski had 17 tackles, Blecha had 13 tackles, and Armando Enriquez had 12 tackles.
Dundy County Stratton moves to four and two on the season, and they will hit the road to play Bayard on Thursday, 10/15. Sutherland falls to 0-6, and they will host Bayard on Thursday this week.
Hi-Line @ Maywood-Hayes Center
Hi-Line and Maywood-Hayes Center battled last week. The Bulls won, 18 to 8. For the bowls, they had a lot of success running the ball, with 232 yards on the ground. Traevyn had 107 yards rushing and two touchdowns. Cole Dean had 63 yards and a touchdown. On defense, Lucas Cochrane had 17 tackles.
For Maywood- Hayes Center, Quaid Brott had 40 yards rushing and one touchdown. On defense, Kade Broz had 15 tackles.
The Bulls are now 2-4 and will play North Platte St. Pat's on Friday. The Wolves are now 3-3 and will go to Hemingford on Friday.

North Platte St. Pat's @ Hitchcock County
On Friday, we had a highly anticipated matchup between two of the top teams in class D2. North Platte St. Pat's, though, won big over the Hitchcock County Falcons, 55 to 6. For the Falcons, Tekoa Hazlitt threw for 11 yards, threw one interception, and rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown. Carter Propp had 97 yards rushing.
The Falcons are now 5-1 on the season and will play at Perkins County on Friday.
Maxwell @ Brady
Maxwell played Brady on Friday evening and lost by a final score of 70 to 28. For the Wildcats, they had 120 yards passing and 117 yards rushing as a team. Griffin Flock had 73 yards rushing and a touchdown. Tayton Phillips was the go-to wide receiver with 81 yards and one touchdown on four catches.
Maxwell is now 2-4 this season, and they will host Mullen on Friday.
Medicine Valley @ Paxton
The Medicine Valley Raiders just keep on winning. Most recently, they took down Paxton 56-7. For the Raiders, Mason Roblee rushed for 246 yards. Lucas Einspahr had 91 yards. Roblee also had 65 yards passing, and his go-to receivers were Payton Newcomb (42 yards) and Spencer Snyder (39 yards)
At the time of writing this, stats for Paxton were not available. Medicine Valley is now 5-0 and will play at Arthur County on Friday. Paxton falls to 2-3 and will play at Southwest on Friday, which is an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup.

Southern Valley @ Pleasanton
The Southern Valley Eagles faced Pleasanton on Friday night and lost 45-16. Were the Eagles, Houston Hunt threw for 132 yards and a touchdown. Hunter Lans had 84 yards rushing. Krayton Chesterman caught four passes for 42 yards and a touchdown.
Southern Valley is now four and two on the season, and they will host rival Cambridge on Friday. That will be an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup.

Wauneta-Palisade @ Bayard
The Wauneta-Palisade Broncos captured a victory on Friday when they played against Baird. The Broncos won 24-0. Barret Frecks led Wauneta-Palisade with 96 rushing yards and three touchdowns. He also caught 16 yards and scored a touchdown.
On defense, Bennet Wiese had 14 tackles. The Broncos are now 3-4 this season, and they will play Hyannis on Friday.
