RPAC Volleyball Results as of 10/5

We are nearing the end of the regular season, and now that October has arrived, the RPAC Tournament is on the horizon. Check out how teams fared last week.


Alma

Alma traveled to Franklin for a triangular on Tuesday with the Flyers and Red Cloud.


Against Red Cloud, the Cardinals were swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-11 and 25-17. Tierston Moore had five kills and 12 digs; Abbie Pool had five digs and five assists; Kamri Neal had seven digs; and Kamryn Scott had eight assists.


Against Franklin, Alma lost the first set 25-16, but then won sets two and three with set scores of 25-19 and 25-21, ultimately winning the match 2-1. Moore had 10 kills, two blocks, and 15 digs; Scott had six kills and six digs; Taylor Pool had six kills; Vayden Epp had six kills and nine digs; Neal had seven digs; and A. Pool had eight digs and 22 assists.


On Thursday, Alma hosted Overton and Southwest for a triangular.


Against Southwest, the Cardinals were swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-19 and 25-11. Moore had eight kills; Epp had six kills and four digs; A. Pool had four digs; and Scott had 12 assists.


Against Overton, Alma was swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-19 and 25-19. Moore had six kills and three blocks; Epp had six kills and eight digs; Neal had two aces and 10 digs; A. Pool had two blocks, five digs, and seven assists; Scott had seven digs and nine assists.


The Cardinals are now 10-13 and will travel to Southern Valley on Tuesday and SEM on Thursday.



Arapahoe

Arapahoe hosted Loomis on Tuesday for a dual. Loomis took set one 25-16, Arapahoe took sets two and three with the score of 26-24, but Loomis took the fourth set 25-17 to force a fifth and deciding set. The Wolves took the fifth set 15-10 to win the match, 3-2. Clara Hilker had 13 kills, two aces, three blocks, and eight digs; Emma Strand had 10 kills and three aces; Ryleigh Tidyman had seven kills and six assists; Chloe Gooden had two aces and 10 digs; Suttyn Shafer had three aces and 23 digs; Taytum Roskop had 15 digs; and Sawyer Shafer had 20 digs and 28 assists.


On Thursday, the Warriors traveled to Medicine Valley for a triangular with the Raiders and Paxton.


Against Medicine Valley, Arapahoe earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-15 and 25-12. Hilker had eight kills, four aces, and five digs; Strand had six kills and two aces; Gooden had two aces and seven digs; Roskop had two blocks and seven digs; Suttyn Shafer had four digs; and Sawyer Shafer had 16 assists.


Against Paxton, Arapahoe won the first set, 25-16, lost the second set 25-22, and won the third set 25-17 to win the match, 2-1. Hilker had 11 kills, two aces, and eight digs; Strand had eight kills; Ridyman had five kills; Roskop had five kills, two blocks, and 12 digs; Grace Andrews had two aces and five digs; Gooden had five digs; Suttyn Shafer had 17 digs; and Sawyer Shafer had 15 digs and 25 assists.


Arapahoe is 10-8 and will travel to Axtell on Tuesday, host Northern Valley, KS, on Thursday, and travel to Hi-Line on Friday.


Bertrand

The Vikings had just one match this week, hosting Axtell. Bertrand was swept, 3-0, with set scores of 25-15, 25-20, and 25-10. No stats have been posted yet -- As soon as they are available, we will update the blog.


Bertrand is 3-16 and will travel to Wilcox-Hildreth on Tuesday for a triangular with the Falcons and Ansley-Litchfield. They will then travel to Loomis on Friday and to Anselmo-Merna for a tournament on Saturday, wrapping up their regular season.

Cambridge

The Trojans hosted Cozad and McCook for a triangular on Tuesday.


Against Cozad, Cambridge earned a 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-19 and 25-17. Brooklyn Holtze had 10 kills, 11 digs, and five assists; Mallory Springer had six kills, two blocks, six digs, and 10 assists; Joslyn Holtze had five digs; and Annabelle Taylor had 11 digs.


Against McCook, the Trojans took set one 25-20, but then lost sets two and three with set scores of 25-22 and 25-20, ultimately losing the match 2-1. B. Holtze had 13 kills, 20 digs, and 11 assists; Springer had 11 kills, three blocks, 18 digs, and 14 assists; J. Holtze had 10 kills and 10 digs; Taylor had eight digs; and Elisabeth Kubik had 20 digs.


Cambridge traveled to Maywood-Hayes Center on Friday to take on the Wolves. The Trojans were swept by the Wolves, 3-0, with set scores of 25-15, 25-19, and 25-18. B. Holtze had 12 kills, three blocks, 11 digs, and 10 assists; Springer had nine kills, two aces, 11 digs, and 14 assists; J. Holtze had two blocks, four kills, and nine digs; Kubik had 14 digs; and Clason had 11 digs.


The Trojans are 15-6 and will travel to Maxwell for a triangular with the Wildcats and South Loup, and will host Hi-Line on Thursday.



Dundy County Stratton

On Tuesday, the Tigers traveled to Wauneta-Palisade for a triangular with the Broncos and Northern Valley, KS.


Against Northern Valley, KS, the Tigers earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-21 and 25-21. Emily Schack had 10 kills, three aces, and seven digs; Ava Lutz had six kills, three blocks, and five digs; Clara Spargo had five kills and four digs; Abi Spargo had six kills, two aces, three blocks, and three digs; Lexie Yrkoski had six digs; and Bree Lutz had 22 assists.


Against Wauneta-Palisade, the Tigers dropped the first set 25-21, won the second set 25-13, and lost the third set 25-21, ultimately losing the match 2-1. Schack had 16 kills and 14 digs; C. Spargo had 11 kills, three blocks, and 11 digs; A. Lutz had three aces and four digs; A. Spargo had five blocks; and B. Lutz had seven digs and 24 assists.


The Tigers traveled to Oberlin, KS, on Saturday for a tournament.


Against Rawlins County, KS, the Tigers earned the 2-0 sweep. Schack had 10 kills, two aces, and four digs; A. Spargo had nine kills, five blocks, and three digs; C. Spargo had six kills, two blocks, and eight digs; A. Lutz had two aces, three kills, and five digs; B. Lutz had two aces, five digs, and 24 assists; and Kimberly Escobar had seven digs.


Against Hoxie, KS, DCS earned the 2-0 sweep. Schack had nine kills and 11 digs; A. Spargo had four kills, two aces, four blocks, and seven digs; C. Spargo had six digs; Escobar had six digs; B. Lutz had 13 assists; and Yrkoski had eight digs.


Against Golden Plains, KS, the Tigers earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-11 and 25-11. No stats have been posted yet -- As soon as they are available, we will update the blog.


Against Triplains/Brewster, KS, DCS earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-7 and 25-4. No stats have been posted yet -- As soon as they are available, we will update the blog.


Against Decatur Community, KS, the Tigers earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-19 and 25-12. Schack had 10 kills and three digs; A. Spargo had eight kills, two aces, four blocks, and three digs; C. Spargo had four kills, three blocks, and three digs; A. Lutz had two aces; B. Lutz had six digs and 17 assists; and Escobar had nine digs.


Dundy County Stratton is 17-3 and will travel to Wallace on Tuesday for a triangular with the Wildcats and South Platte, and will travel to Sidney on Thursday.


Hi-Line

Hi-Line had just one match last week, hosting Wallace and earning a 3-2 win. This was an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup. To read the complete blog recap, click here. The Bulls had 20 aces in the match. Rilee Schutz had 19 kills, two aces, and 30 digs; Lauryn Ruda had 12 kills, four aces, two blocks, and three digs; Piper Puls had five kills and six digs; Bentley Stubbs had seven aces, two blocks, and 12 digs; Kylee Kubert had two aces and five digs; Bristol Kubert had four aces and 19 digs; Jurnee Harris had 12 digs; Julea Moore had six digs; Piper Puls had six digs; and Klaire Pohl had 12 digs and 36 assists.


The Bulls improve to 8-12 and will host Sandhills Valley on Monday, travel to SEM on Tuesday, travel to Cambridge on Thursday, and host Arapahoe on Friday.

Hitchcock County

Hitchcock County traveled to Rawlins County, KS, on Monday, and lost the match 3-2. The Falcons took set one 25-8, lost the second set 27-25, and the third set 25-23, won the fourth set 25-10, and lost the fifth set 15-8. Hitchcock County had 14 aces in the match. Asia Homma had 19 kills, two aces, and 14 digs; Madysen Carlson had 18 kills, two blocks, and nine digs; Riley Hagan had 13 kills, five aces, and 24 digs; Emma Hagan had four aces and 14 digs; Katelyn Cook had three blocks and seven digs; Kalissa Hagan had 20 digs and 24 assists; and Jayda Wood had 14 digs and 25 assists.


On Saturday, the Falcons traveled to Oakley, KS, for a tournament and played in five matches.


Against Cheylin, KS, Hitchcock County won the first set 25-22, and lost sets two and three with set scores of 25-23 and 25-23. R. Hagan had 16 kills and 15 digs; Homma had 13 kills and 23 digs; Cook had eight kills, two blocks, and three digs; Carlson had two aces, two blocks, and five digs; K. Hagan had seven digs and 17 assists; E. Hagan had 12 digs; and Wood had 25 digs and 18 assists.


Against Dighton, KS, the Falcons earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-19 and 25-20. Carlson had eight kills and five blocks; Homma had five kills and 10 digs; R. Hagan had three aces and 11 digs; K. Hagan had two blocks, four digs, and five assists; Wood had two blocks, six digs, and 11 assists; Cook had two blocks and four digs.


Against Oakley, KS, Hitchcock County was swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-12 and 25-19. Carlson had seven digs; R. Hagan had five kills and eight digs; Wood had two aces, nine digs, and seven assists; Homma had two aces and seven digs; K. Hagan had 12 digs and four assists; and E. Hagan had five digs.


Against Bishop Seabury Academy in Lawrence, KS, the Falcons took set one, 25-20; SBA took set two, 25-20; and the Falcons took set three, 25-23, and the match, 2-1. Homma had 11 kills and 15 digs; R. Hagan had nine kills and 19 digs; Carlson had eight kills and four blocks; Cook had six kills; Wood had three aces, 16 digs, and 20 assists; K. Hagan had 15 digs and six assists; and E. Hagan had eight digs.


Against Hugoton, KS, Hitchcock County earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 26-24 and 25-13. Homma had nine kills, two aces, and nine digs; Carlson had nine kills and two blocks; R. Hagan had five kills, two aces, and 19 digs; K. Hagan had seven digs and 16 assists; E. Hagan had six digs; Cook had six digs; and Wood had seven digs and nine assists.


The Falcons are 8-16 and will host a triangular on Tuesday with Decatur Community, KS, and Goodland, KS.

Maxwell

Maxwell hosted Mullen on Friday and earned the 3-2 win. The Wildcats lost the first set 25-23, won the second and third sets with scores of 25-11 and 25-15, lost a long fourth set with a score of 31-29, and won the fifth set 15-11. Kristyn Cheek had 24 kills, four aces, and 10 digs; Emory Christensen had 13 kills, four blocks, 16 digs, and 26 assists; Rylynn Quick had seven kills, six aces, five digs, and four blocks; Madelynn Nelson had three aces and 13 digs; Jayda Frederick had four blocks; Kylee Wyman had six digs; and Ellys Gosnell had 11 digs.


The Wildcats are 11-8 and will host a triangular on Tuesday with Cambridge and South Loup, travel to Paxton on Thursday, and travel to Hershey on Saturday for a triangular with the Panthers and North Platte St. Pats.



Maywood-Hayes Center

On Tuesday, the Wolves traveled to Wallace for a triangular with the Wildcats and Brady.


Against Wallace, MHC got the sweep, winning the match 2-0 with set scores of 25-14 and 25-18. Karissa Stengel had nine kills, two aces, and nine digs; Blayklee Farr had five kills and five digs; Haylie Gustafson had six kills and four digs; Jillian Johnson had five kills and two blocks; Addison Richards had five aces and six digs; Ensley Lawless had five digs; Paytyn Stengel had 15 assists seven digs; and Jaylee Sellers had five assists.


Against Brady, the Wolves earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-22 and 25-18. Stengel had eight kills, four aces, and seven digs; Addison Richards had five kills and four blocks; Gustafson had five blocks; Johnson had four blocks; Farr had seven digs; Lanie Soundy had five assists; and Sellers had 13 assists.


On Friday, MHC hosted Cambridge and earned the 3-0 sweep with set scores of 25-15, 25-19, and 25-18. Richards had 10 kills and seven blocks; Stengel had eight kills, three aces, and 11 digs; Farr had seven kills, three aces, and nine digs; Sellers had two aces, seven digs, and 14 assists; Gustafson had five blocks; Soundy had 11 digs and 12 assists; and Lawless had 17 digs.


The Wolves improve to 18-6 and will have just one match this week, hosting Southern Valley on Thursday.

Medicine Valley

On Tuesday, the Raiders traveled to Sandhills Valley for a triangular with the Mavericks and Perkins County.


Against Sandhills Valley, Medicine Valley was swept 2-0, with set scores of 25-18 and 25-13. TeeJay Hildebrandt had six kills and eight digs; Kamree Elsten had two aces and eight assists; and Oakley Stout had 10 digs.


Against Perkins County, the Raiders were swept 2-0 with set scores of 25-13 and 25-15. Stout had four kills, three blocks, two assists, and seven digs; Aspen Closman had two aces; Hildebrandt had six digs; and Elsten had two assists.


On Thursday, Medicine Valley hosted a triangular against Paxton and Arapahoe.


Against Arapahoe, the Raiders were swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-15 and 25-12. Stout had five kills, two blocks, and eight digs, and Elsten had five assists.


Against Paxton, Medicine Valley took set one 25-22, but then lost the next two sets with set scores of 25-21 and 25-11, losing the match 2-1. Stout had seven kills and seven digs; Hildebrandt had five kills and six digs; Delaney Evans had two aces and seven digs; Elsten had six digs and 15 assists; and Kenley Cole had 11 digs.


Medicine Valley is now 1-16 and will travel to Brady on Tuesday, Southwest on Thursday, and Anselm-Merna on Saturday for a tournament.


Paxton

Paxton traveled to Sandhills/Thedford for a triangular with the Knights and Arthur County.


Against Sandhills/Thedford, the Tigers were swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-18 and 25-23. Jaleigh Hansen had five kills, two aces, and nine digs; Reece Glinn had five kills and five digs; Jakcee Mitchell had eight digs; Cayla Peterson had nine digs; Addison Holm had nine digs; and Hadleigh Kramer had six digs and 12 assists.


Against Arthur County, Paxton earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-18 and 25-23. Hansen had six kills and five digs; Mitchell had six kills and eight digs; Holm had five kills, three aces, and six digs; Glinn had four aces and five digs; and Kramer had six digs and 17 assists.


Paxton traveled to Medicine Valley on Thursday for a triangular with the Raiders and Arapahoe.

Holm had 14 kills and four digs; Hansen had seven kills and 10 digs; Mitchell had six kills, two aces, and eight digs; Glinn had five kills and 13 digs; Peterson had three aces and five digs; and Kramer had 10 digs and 27 assists.


Paxton is 14-9 and will travel to Leyton on Tuesday and host Maxwell on Thursday.


Southern Valley

The Eagles had just one match on the road against Amherst on Tuesday. Southern Valley was swept 3-0 with set scores of 25-8, 25-7, and 25-13. Tori Bose had 11 kills and three digs; Lauren Quinn had five digs; Cali Santifer had 12 digs; Sophia Cunningham had eight digs; and Emercen Lovitt had five digs and 11 assists.


Southern Valley is 7-16 and will host Alma on Tuesday and travel to Maywood-Hayes Center on Thursday.



Southwest

Southwest hosted a triangular on Tuesday with Decatur Community, KS, and St. Francis, KS.


Against Decatur Community, the Roughriders earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-18 and 26-24. Kyra Nelms had 16 kills and nine digs; Anikka Nelms had nine kills and 10 digs; Caitlyn Adams had 11 digs; and Aspen Billeter had 25 assists.


Against St. Francis, Southwest earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-7 and 25-23. A. Nelms had 10 kills and eight digs; K. Nelms had nine kills, two aces, and 14 digs; and Billeter had four aces, seven digs, and 17 assists.


On Thursday, the Roughriders traveled to Alma for a triangular with the Cardinals and Overton.


Against Alma, Southwest earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-19 and 25-11. K. Nelms had 13 kills and six digs; A. Nelms had 13 kills, three aces, and four digs; Bellamie Stritt had six digs; and Billeter had 26 assists.


In a rematch from the weekend before against Overton, the Roughriders were swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-20 and 25-21. K. Nelms had 12 kills and 12 digs; A. Nelms had 12 kills and 11 digs, Stritt had six digs; and Billeter had six digs and 22 assists.


Southwest is 18-3 and will host a triangular on Tuesday with Chase County and North Platte St. Pat's, and will host Medicine Valley on Thursday.


Sutherland

The Sailors traveled to take on Garden County on Tuesday and were swept, 3-0, with set scores of 25-11, 25-13, and 25-17. Leah Harper had eight kills; Kate Dyer had two blocks and four digs; Keeley Dempcy had four digs; Payten Weber had four digs; and Drew Rotert had nine digs and 13 assists.


On Thursday, Sutherland hosted North Platte St. Pat's and lost 3-1. Sutherland took set one with a score of 25-20, and then lost the next three sets with set scores of 25-21, 25-11, and 25-15. Harper had six kills; Addison Arvdal had five kills and two blocks; Macradee Lantis had six digs; Dyer had eight digs; Jali Martinez had 13 digs; Dempcy had 17 digs; Weber had five digs; and Rotert had 17 digs and 14 assists.


Sutherland is 5-16 and will travel to Sandhills/Theford on Tuesday, host Hershey on Thursday, and travel to Kimball on Friday.

Wallace

Wallace hosted Brady and Maywood-Hayes Center for a triangular on Tuesday.


Against Brady, Wallace took set one 25-23, but lost sets two and three with set scores of 25-11 and 25-16, to lose the match 2-1. Reagan Finley had 11 kills and nine digs; Kaley Sauser had eight kills, seven digs, and 14 assists; Madison Gartrell had seven kills and eight digs; Mariana Aceves-Lopez had 12 digs and 11 assists; and Briseyda Vazquez had nine digs.


Against MHC, the Wildcats were swept 2-0 with set scores of 25-14 and 25-18. Finley had four kills and six digs; Sauser had three aces, 12 digs, and three assists; Gartrell had seven digs; Aceves-Lopez had six digs and three assists; and Vazquez had four digs.

Finley had 18 kills, four aces, and 16 digs; Gartrell had 15 kills, three aces, and 14 digs; Sauser had nine kills, five aces, 24 digs, and 21 assists; Regan Martin had six kills and three blocks; Acves-Lopez had 21 digs and 16 assists; and Vazquez had 14 digs.


Wallace is 4-15 and will host a triangular with Dundy County Stratton and South Platte on Tuesday, host Wauneta-Palisade on Thursday, and host Sandhills Valley on Friday.


Wauneta-Palisade

The Broncos hosted Dundy County Stratton and Norther Valley, KS, for a triangular on Tuesday.


Against DCS, the Broncos won the first set 25-21, lost the second set 25-13, and won the third set 25-21, winning the match 2-1.  No stats have been posted yet -- As soon as they are available, we will update the blog.


Against Northern Valley, Wauneta-Palisade earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-6 and 25-10.  No stats have been posted yet -- As soon as they are available, we will update the blog.


On Friday, Wauneta-Palisade traveled to SEM and lost 3-1.  No stats have been posted yet -- As soon as they are available, we will update the blog.


Wauneta-Palisade is 12-9 and will travel to Garden County for a triangular with Garden County and Perkins County, and will travel to Wallace on Thursday.
