RPAC VOLLEYBALL RESULTS AS OF 9/19


Alma

The Cardinals had a busy week as they started off the week hosting a triangular with Cozad and Arapahoe. They defeated both Cozad and Arapahoe 2-0. Addison Siebel's tallied 12 kills, two aces, and five digs against the Warriors. Alma hosted Phillipsburg, KS on Thursday and fell short 3-0. On Saturday Alma defeated Blue Hill 2-1 and Superior 2-0 at the Blue Hill triangular. Alma is now 13-5 on the season.


Arapahoe

Arapahoe traveled to Alma for a triangular on Tuesday. The Warriors defeated Cozad 2-0 while Emerson Swanson led the way with nine kills and eight digs. In their 2-0 loss to Alma, it was Addie Jeffcoat who led the Warriors with three kills and one block. On Thursday, it was another triangular and they traveled to Southern Valley to take on the Eagles as well as Bertrand. Arapahoe fell to Southern Valley 2-0 and defeated Bertrand 2-1. The Warriors are now 7-6 on the season.


Bertrand

The Vikings traveled to Southern Valley for a triangular on Thursday. Against Southern Valley, they fell 2-0 and Katelyn Evans led the Vikings with six kills. Bertrand battled hard with Arapahoe but ultimately came up short losing 2-1. Brooklyn Evans and Bethany Pelton each tallied seven kills during the match. Bertrand falls to 3-10 on the year.


Cambridge

Loomis came to town on Tuesday and the Trojans got the victory 3-0. Jalen Kent had a game as she tallied 16 kills, one ace, two blocks, and seven digs. Erin Johnson also tallied 14 kills. On Friday Cambridge defeated Southern Valley 3-0 and Jacey Kent led the Trojans with 14 kills, three aces, one block, and eight digs. Johnson also added 10 kills. On Saturday they traveled to McCook for a tournament. The Trojans were tournament champions as they defeated Decatur Community, KS 2-0, Chase County 2-0, and Southwest 2-0. Cambridge is now 13-1 on the year.


Dundy County Stratton

Dundy County Stratton participated in triangulars on Tuesday and Thursday this week. On Tuesday, the Tigers fell to both Brady and South Loup 2-0. On Thursday, they fell to both Goodland, KS and Norton Community, KS 2-0. They are now 0-12 on the year.


Hitchcock County

Hitchcock County traveled to take on Maywood-Hayes Center on Tuesday. They fell 3-0 but were led by Katie Jarecke with five kills. On Thursday, the Falcons were in a tough match with Medicine Valley but they fell 3-2. Jaracke tallied 14 kills, three aces, and 13 digs. They are now 2-11 on the season.


Maxwell

The Wildcats traveled to Overton on Tuesday and fell 3-0. Jocelyn Cheek had six kills in the match. On Thursday, they hosted Brady and fell 3-2 in a tough back and forth match while Cheek contributed 16 kills. Maxwell participated in the NPCC Tournament on Saturday and fell to SEM 2-0 and both Paxton and Hi-Line 2-1. Maxwell is now 1-13 on the season.


Maywood-Hayes Center

The Wolves hosted Hitchcock County on Tuesday and were able to snag the 3-0 win while Olivia Hansen had nine kills, four blocks, and 31 digs. On Thursday they traveled to Wauneta-Palisade where they took down the Broncos 3-0. They improve to 12-0 on the season.


Medicine Valley

Medicine Valley only had one match this week and they traveled to Hitchcock County on Thursday. It took five sets, but the Raiders came out victorious. Stella Heapy at 17 kills and 21 digs. They are now 9-2 on the season.


Paxton

On Thursday, Paxton had a triangular with Perkins County and South Platte. They defeated both teams 2-1. Audrey Holm had 22 kills between the two matches. The Tigers participated in the NPCC tournament on Saturday and defeated Sutherland and Hi-Line 2-0 as well as Maxwell 2-1. They are now 12-1 on the year.


Southern Valley

The Eagles had a busy week and it started with hosting a triangular on Thursday. They defeated Bertrand and Arapahoe 2-0. On Friday, Southern Valley traveled to Cambridge where they fell 3-0. On Saturday, they participated in the Gibbon Invite and they fell to both Burwell and Centura 2-0 but was able to defeat Gibbon 2-1. The Eagles are 7-10 on the year.


Southwest

The Roughriders traveled to Wauneta-Palisade on Tuesday and won 3-0. Bryn Lampe had 26 assists and seven digs. In the McCook tournament on Saturday, Southwest defeated Alliance and McCook 2-1 to advance to the championship against Cambridge. They fell to the Trojans 2-0. They are now 10-3 on the year.


Wallace

Wallace hosted a triangular on Tuesday and defeated both Sutherland and Mullen 2-0. The Wildcats traveled to South Platte on Friday and came home with a win as they won 3-2. Karley Finley had 20 kills in the match. They are now 11-2.


Wauneta-Palisade

The Broncos battled Southwest on Tuesday and fell 3-0. Peyton Cox had eight kills in the match. On Thursday, they fell to Maywood-Hayes Center 3-0. Cox tallied 10 kills. Wauneta-Palisade is now 4-8 on the season.
