RPAC Football Results as of 9/20, Week 4

The season rolls on. We have made it through week 4, and we prep for week 5 now.

Thayer Central @ Alma
Alma hosted Thayer Central on Friday, and the Cardinals collected their third win of the season, 52-34. As a team, the Cardinals were balanced, passing for 271 yards and rushing for 164. Drew Lewis had 271 yards passing and four TD's. On the ground, Miles Ford had 92 yards and three touchdowns. Banks Hammond had 15 tackles. Wyatt Martin had two sacks, and Hammond had one. Josh Russell had 95 yards receiving and a touchdown.
Alma is 3-1 and will go to Kimball on Friday.

Axtell @ Arapahoe
Arapahoe hosted Axtell for its homecoming and won big, 66-14. For Arapahoe, they had 86 yards passing and 242 yards rushing.
Rigley McDonald had 103 yards rushing and a score; Briggs Hill had 41 yards and a touchdown; Boede Soncksen, Hayden Helms, Trey Downey, and Ryder Rask each had a rushing touchdown. Zach Einspahr had a passing touchdown.
Kallan Warner had six tackles to lead Arapahoe.
Arapahoe is now 2-2 and will play at Bertrand on Friday.
Perkins County @ Bertrand
Speaking of Bertrand, they collected another win. The Vikings hosted Perkins County on Friday and won big, 56-12. At the time of writing this, stats for the Vikings were not available. Bertrand is 3-1 and will host Arapahoe on Friday.

Cambridge @ Wauneta-Palisade
Cambridge and Wauneta-Palisade played Friday, and the Trojans won big, 46-0. The Trojans scored all of those points in the first half. The game was called after the half as the weather delay played a factor.
For Cambridge, Braxton Mitchell was 5-for-5 for 47 yards and two touchdowns. He also had 98 yards rushing and two touchdowns. Roy Hoelscher had 114 yards rushing, 11 yards receiving, and three touchdowns. Asher Gerlach had one catch for 24 yards and a touchdown. Hoelscher led the team in tackles with six; Kaden Klumpe had two sacks, and Myles Stanton had one.
Cambridge is now 3-1 and will play Overton at home on Thursday. The Broncos fall to 2-3 and will host Dundy County Stratton on Friday. That game is an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup.
Brady @ Dundy County Stratton
DCS hosted Brady on Friday. The Tigers won, 62-14. Noah Zoltenko had a big game with
110 yards rushing; Trynt Unger had 23 yards passing, 77 yards rushing, and two touchdowns.
Tagen Yrkosi had eight tackles, and so did Brock Bailey.
The Tigers are 2-2 and will play at Wauneta-Palisade on Friday. That game is an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup.

Hi-Line @ Sutherland

Hitchcock County @ Franklin
Hitchcock County had a tough matchup on Friday evening against Franklin. The Falcons won big, 86-38. At the time of writing this, stats for the Falcons were not available.

Maywood-Hayes Center @ Loomis
Maywood-Hayes Center faced Loomis on Friday evening. MHC lost, 66-12. JaColby Landry had 44 yards rushing and two touchdowns. Kade Broz had 12 tackles to lead MHC
MHC is now 2-2 and will host Perkins County on Friday.
South Platte @ Medicine Valley
Medicine Valley hosted South Platte on Friday and won 70-26. The Raiders built a monster halftime lead, 34-6. They kept things rolling, outscoring South Platte 36-20 in the second half.
Medicine Valley had 138 yards passing and 401 yards rushing
For the Raiders, Mason Roblee had 84 yards passing, 207 yards rushing, and six total touchdowns. Javan Houghtelling had 109 yards rushing and one touchdown. Spencer Snyder had 48 yards receiving and two touchdowns; Payton Newcomb had 59 yards and a touchdown.
Lucas Einspahr had 15 tackles in the game as well.
Medicine Valley moves to 3-0 and will face SEM on Friday.

It was a top-5 showdown in 6-man football on Thursday as Wallace played Garden County. The final score was 42-16. Colt Franklin was 6-12 passing with a touchdown. He had 6 tackles also.
Garden County held the Wildcat rushing attack to 3.9 yards per carry. Sullivan had 61 yards and a touchdown. Ashtin Johns had 47 yards rushing. Tobin Pelster had 25 yards receiving and a touchdown.
Wallace is now 2-1 and will play Paxton on Friday at home.
