RPAC Volleyball Results as of 9/21

Alma


The Cardinals hosted Cozad and Arapahoe on Tuesday for a triangular.


Against Cozad, the Haymakers took set one, 25-18; Alma took set two, 26-24; and Cozad took set five, 25-21, and the match, 2-1. Tierston Moore had 12 kills, three blocks, and four digs; Vayden Epp had seven kills and 11 digs; Kamri Neal had six digs; Kamryn Scott had eight digs and 14 assists; and Abbie Pool had eight digs and 12 assists.


The Cardinals were swept by Arapahoe, 2-0, with set scores of 25-20 and 25-22. Moore had nine kills and seven digs; Epp had six kills and 11 digs; Neal had two aces and four digs; Scott had 15 assists; and Pool had five assists.


On Thursday, Alma traveled to Phillipsburg, KS. The Panthers took set one, 25-18; Alma took set two, 25-16; and the Panthers dropped sets three and four, 25-13 and 25-13, to lose the match, 3-1. Moore had 19 kills, six blocks, and 12 digs; Epp had 10 kills and 21 digs; Neal had 17 digs; Taylor Pool had seven digs; Scott had eight digs and 18 assists; and A. Pool had eight digs and 18 assists.


On Saturday, Alma traveled to Blue Hill for a triangular with Blue Hill and Kenesaw.


Against Blue Hill, the Cardinals were swept 2-0 with set scores of 25-23 and 25-16. Moore had 10 kills and seven digs; Epp had five kills and eight digs; Neal had eight digs; A. Pool had eight digs and seven assists; and Scott had 11 assists.


Against Kenesaw, Alma was swept 2-0 with set scores of 25-23 and 25-14.  No stats have been posted yet -- As soon as they are available, we will update the blog.


Alma is now 8-10 and will host Medicine Valley on Tuesday.


Arapahoe


On Tuesday, Arapahoe traveled to Alma for a triangular with Alma and Cozad.


Against Cozad, the Warriors were swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-14 and 25-21. Emma Strand had six kills; Sawyer Shafer had eight digs and nine assists; Taytum Roskop had five digs; and Clara Hilker had five digs.


Against Alma, Arapahoe earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-20 and 25-22. Strand had nine kills and two aces; Hilker had eight kills and four digs; Roskop had five aces and nine digs; Suttyn Shafer had seven digs; and Sawyer Shafer had two blocks, 11 digs, and 14 assists.


On Thursday, the Warriors traveled to Southern Valley for a triangular with the Eagles and Bertrand.


Against Southern Valley, the Warriors earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-21 and 25-16. Strand had 10 kills, two blocks, and five digs; Hilker had nine kills and five digs; Suttyn Shafer had nine digs; and Sawyer Shafer had nine digs and 15 assists.


The Warriors swept Bertrand, 2-0, with set scores of 25-15 and 25-13. Strand had nine kills and four digs; Hilker had six kills, six aces, and five digs; Suttyn Shafer had three aces and five digs; Roskop had seven digs; and Sawyer Shafer had nine digs and 15 assists.


Arapahoe is now 8-6 and will travel to Southwest on Tuesday.


Bertrand


The Vikings traveled to South Loup on Tuesday night for a triangular with the Bobcats and Brady.


Bertrand was swept 2-0 by South Loup with set scores of 25-19 and 25-20. Livia Philips had six kills and 11 digs; Addy Sand had six kills and six digs; Addison Andersen had eight digs and 15 assists.


Against Brady, the Vikings were swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-23 and 25-19. Philips had seven kills and 12 digs; Sand added 10 digs; Adlea Hock had five digs; Baylee Kipp had 19 digs; Malia Brown had five digs; and Andersen had six digs and 13 assists.


On Thursday, Bertrand traveled to Southern Valley for a triangular with the Eagles and Arapahoe.


Against Southern Valley, Bertrand lost set one 25-20, won set two 25-22, and lost set three 25-19, ultimately losing the match 2-1. Philips had nine kills, two aces, and 21 digs; Hock had six kills and 18 digs; Kipp had 23 digs; Sand had eight digs; Alivia Rabe had eight digs; Brown had six digs; and Andersen had 23 digs and 22 assists.


Against Arapahoe, the Vikings were swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-15 and 25-13. Philips had four kills and eight digs; Kipp had 15 digs; and Andersen had 15 digs and 11 assists.


Bertrand is now 2-12 and will travel to Franklin on Tuesday and host a tournament on Saturday.



Cambridge


Cambridge hosted Wallace on Thursday for a dual. The Trojans swept the Wildcats, 3-0, with set scores of 25-4, 25-14, and 25-19. Mallory Springer had 12 kills, two aces, 11 digs, and 16 assists; Brooklyn Holtze had eight kills, nine digs, and eight assists; Joslyn Holtze had six kills and nine digs; Elisabeth Kubik had eight digs; Annabelle Taylor had five aces and six digs; and Kolbryn Clason had five aces and four digs.


On Saturday, Cambridge traveled to McCook for a tournament and had three matches.


Against Chase County, the Trojans earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-22 and 25-20.  No stats have been posted yet -- As soon as they are available, we will update the blog.


In their next match against Southwest, Cambridge was swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-19 and 25-17. B. Holtze had eight kills, five digs, and five assists; and Springer had five kills, two aces, six digs, and eight assists.


In their final match against Gering, the Trojans were swept 2-0 with set scores of 25-13 and 25-19. B. Holtze had three kills, two digs, and six assists; Springer had three kills, three digs, and four assists; Clason had five digs; J. Holtze had six digs; and Kubik had seven digs.


Cambridge is now 11-4 and will travel to Southern Valley on Tuesday for a triangular with the Eagles and Loomis, and on Thursday, they will host Medicine Valley.

Dundy County Stratton


On Thursday, Dundy County Stratton hosted Cheylon-Bird City, KS, for a dual. The Tigers won the first two sets 25-17 and 25-18, but lost the third set 25-20. They bounced back in the fourth set to take the set 25-19 and the match, 3-1. Emily Schack had 19 kills, two aces, two blocks, and 10 digs; Abi Spargo had 13 kills, six aces, and 12 digs; Clara Spargo had nine kills, two aces, three blocks, and 21 digs; Ava Lutz had eight digs; and Bree Lutz had 37 assists.


On Saturday, the Tigers traveled to North Platte for the NPCC Tournament.


Against Sutherland, DCS earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-6 and 25-15.  A. Spargo had nine kills and three blocks; Schack had eight kills and four digs; C. Spargo had six kills and four digs; Kimberly Escobar had seven digs; and B. Lutz had eight digs and 24 assists.


Against Paxton, DCS took set one 25-17, Paxton took set two 26-28, and DCS took set three 25-14 to take the match, 2-1.  A. Spargo had 12 kills, two blocks, and 11 digs; Schack had nine kills and 14 digs; C. Spargo had eight kills, two blocks, and seven digs; Escobar had nine digs; and B. Lutz had eight digs and 25 assists.


In their final match against SEM, the Tigers took the match 2-0 with set scores of 25-16 and 25-23.  No stats have been posted yet -- As soon as they are available, we will update the blog.


DCS is now 10-2 and will host St. Francis, KS, on Thursday.


Hi-Line


On Thursday, the Bulls hosted Axtell and Loomis for a triangular.


Against Axtell, the Bulls were swept 2-0, with set scores of 25-10 and 25-15. Lauryn Ruda had three kills; Bristol Kubert had two aces, nine assists, and three digs; Kylee Kubert had two aces and five digs; RiLee Schutz had nine digs; and Klaire Pohl had five digs.


Against Loomis, Hi-Line was swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-16 and 25-18. Schutz had six kills; Bentley Stubbs had two aces and six digs; Pohl had six digs; B. Kubert had five digs and 10 assists; and K. Kubert had five digs.


Hi-Line is 4-10 and will travel to the Maywood-Hayes Center tournament on Tuesday, host Sandhills Valley on Thursday, and attend the Brady tournament on Saturday.


Hitchcock County


The Falcons had only one match this week, traveling to Medicine Valley for a dual on Thursday. Hitckcock County earned the 3-0 sweep with set scores of 25-13, 25-21, and 25-13. Madysen Carlson had 15 kills and two aces; Asia Homma had eight kills, two aces, and nine digs; Riley Hagan had three aces and 10 digs; Emma Hagan had three aces; Kalissa Hagan had 10 digs and 16 assists; Jayda Wood had five digs and 12 assists; and Katelyn Cook had seven digs.


Hitchcock County is 3-9 and will travel to Rawlins County, KS, on Tuesday for a triangular with Rawlins County and Wallace County, KS, host Cheylin-Bird City, KS, on Thursday, and then travel to the Sutherland invite on Saturday.



Maxwell


On Tuesday, Maxwell hosted Overton for a dual. The Wildcats lost set one, 26-24, won set two, 25-18, and lost sets three and four, 25-19 and 25-23, to fall in the match, 3-1. No stats have been posted yet -- As soon as they are available, we will update the blog.


On Saturday, Maxwell traveled to North Platte for the NPCC Tournament.


Against SEM, the Wildcats lost 2-0 with set scores of 25-19 and 25-14.  No stats have been posted yet -- As soon as they are available, we will update the blog.


Against Paxton, Maxwell took set one 25-7, and then lost the next set 25-19, and took the third set 25-17 to win the match, 2-1.  No stats have been posted yet -- As soon as they are available, we will update the blog.


Maxwell is 6-6 and will travel to Cozad on Thursday for a triangular with the Haymakers and Sutherland, and will go to the Brady tournament on Saturday.

Maywood-Hayes Center


On Tuesday, the Wolves traveled to Hershey and came away with a win. The Panthers took set one 25-22, but MHC took sets two through four with set scores of 25-15, 25-23, and 25-20, to take the match, 3-1. Caylie Softly had a huge game as she posted 28 kills and 18 digs; Karissa Stengel had 13 kills, 24 digs, and 36 assists; Addison Richards had 11 kills, two blocks, and 28 digs; Blayklee Farr had six kills, three blocks, and 28 digs; Grace Loomis had five kills, three blocks, and six digs; Haylie Gustafson had four kills and three blocks; Ensley Lawless had 22 digs; and Jaylee Sellers had 11 digs and 25 assists.


On Thursday, Maywood-Hayes Center traveled to Wauneta-Palisade. What a thriller! It took all five sets: Wauneta-Palisade took set one 25-14, MHC took set two 25-16, MHC took set three 25-20, Wauneta-Palisade took set 25-15, and MHC took the fifth set 25-15 and the match, 3-2. Softley had 16 kills, three aces, and 10 digs; Stengel had 11 kills, 12 digs, and 26 assists; Farr had 10 kills, three blocks, and nine digs; Gustafson had six kills and three block; Richards had six kills; Loomis had four blocks; Sellers had 10 digs and 15 assists; and Lawless had 21 digs.


On Saturday, the Wolves traveled to the McCook tournament.


Against McCook, the Wolves were swept 2-0, with set scores of 25-15 and 25-22.  No stats have been posted yet -- As soon as they are available, we will update the blog.


Against Valentine, MHC was swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-23 and 25-18.  No stats have been posted yet -- As soon as they are available, we will update the blog.


Against Decatur Community, KS, MHC earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-13 and 25-23.  No stats have been posted yet -- As soon as they are available, we will update the blog.


MHC is 13-3 and will host a tournament on Tuesday, and will attend the Holdrege tournament on Saturday.


Medicine Valley


On Monday, the Raiders hosted Creek Valley and earned their first win of the season with a 3-0 sweep. The set scores were 25-20, 25-8, and 25-14. Serving was very strong for the Raiders as they had 25 aces in the match: Oakley Stout had 13 aces, Gracie Johns had three aces, Brooke Kotschwar had three aces, Aspen Closman had two aces, and Kamree Elsten had two aces. Elsten had seven kills, five assists, and five digs; Stout had six kills and eight digs; Closman had five digs; Teejay Hildebrandt had five digs; and Johns had eight assists.


On Tuesday, Medicine Valley traveled to Sandhills/Thedford. They were swept, 3-0, with set scores of 25-15, 25-20, and 25-14. Stout had 11 kills, two blocks, and five digs; Closman had seven digs; Elsten had five digs and two assists; Hildebrandt had nine digs; and Johns had seven digs and three assists.


On Thursday, Medicine Valley hosted Hitchcock County. The Raiders were swept 3-0, with set scores of 25-13, 25-21, and 25-13.  Stout had seven kills, four aces, and six digs; Elsten had nine digs and five assists; Hildebrandt had 12 digs; and Johns had 10 digs and nine assists.


The Raiders are now 1-10 and will travel to Alma on Tuesday and Cambridge on Thursday.

Paxton


On Tuesday, Paxton traveled to Perkins County for a triangular with Perkins County and South Platte.


Against Perkins County, the Tigers lost set one, 27-25, and won sets two and three with set scores of 25-23 and 27-25 to take the match, 2-1. Addison Holm had 12 kills and 13 digs; Jakcee Mitchell had 10 kills and nine digs; Jaleigh Hansen had eight kills and 13 digs; Cayla Peterson had 13 digs; Reece Glinn had 13 digs; and Hadleigh Kramer had seven digs and 30 assists.


Against South Platte, the Tigers earned a 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-9 and 25-18. Holm had 12 kills and four digs; Mitchell had eight kills and three digs; Hansen had five digs; and Kramer had 23 assists.


On Saturday, Paxton traveled to North Platte for the NPCC Tournament.

Against Dundy Count Stratton, Paxton dropped set one 25-17, won set two 28-26, and lost the third 25-14 to lose the match, 25-14.  No stats have been posted yet -- As soon as they are available, we will update the blog.


Against Maxwell, the Tigers lost the first set 25-7, won the second 25-19, and won the third 25-17, losing the match 2-1.  No stats have been posted yet -- As soon as they are available, we will update the blog.


Paxton is 9-7 and will host a tournament on Tuesday and host Wallace on Thursday.


Southern Valley


On Thursday, the Eagles hosted a triangular with Arapahoe and Bertrand.


Against Arapahoe, the Eagles were swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-21 and 25-16. Tori Bose had five kills and 11 digs; Lorelie Horwart had four kills; Cali Santifer had nine digs; and Emercen Lovitt had 10 assists.


Against the Vikings, the Eagles took set one 25-20, Bertrand took set two 25-22, and the Eagles took set three 25-19 and the match, 2-1. Bose had 17 kills, four aces, and 28 digs; Sopia Cunningham had two aces and 20 digs; Lauren Quinn had eight digs; Santifer had 11 digs; Payton Adams had six digs; and Lovitt had 12 digs and 24 assists.


On Saturday, Southern Valley traveled to Pleasanton for a tournament.


Against NPSP, the Eagles swept the Irish 2-0, with set scores of 25-19 and 25-14. Bose had 11 kills, three blocks, and 11 digs; Cunningham had three aces and five digs; Santifer had two aces and six digs; and Lovitt had 18 assists.


Against Pleasanton, Southern Valley won the first set 25-19, lost the second set 25-16, and won the third set 25-15 to win the match, 2-1. Bose had 12 kills, five aces, six blocks, and seven digs; Horwart had seven kills; Paisley Hammond had three blocks; Cunningham had two blocks and seven digs; Laney Becker had five digs; Quinn had 13 digs; Sanfiger had 14 digs; and Lovitt had seven digs and 23 assists.


Against Osceola, the Eagles were swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-14 and 25-18. Bose had six kills, three aces, and six digs, and Lovitt had 11 assists.


Southern Valley is 5-10 and will host a triangular on Tuesday with Cambridge and Loomis, travel to Axtell on Thursday for a triangular with the Wildcats and Wilcox-Hildreth, and will attend the Hampton tournament on Saturday.


Southwest


On Tuesday, Southwest hosted Wauneta-Palisade for a dual. This was an RPAC Rundown Featured Matchup, and you can read the complete blog by clicking here. Kyra Nelms had 18 kills, two aces, and 11 digs; Anikka Nelms had 13 kills and 12 digs; Bellamie Stritt had 16 digs; Caitlyn Adams had 10 digs; and Aspen Billeter had nine digs and 29 assists.


On Saturday, Southwest traveled to the McCook tournament.


Against Decatur Community, KS, the Roughriders earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-19 and 25-14. K. Nelms had 10 kills, two aces, and five digs; A. Nelms had eight kills and five digs; Adams had two aces and five digs; Stritt had five digs; and Billeter had seven digs and 14 assists.


The Roughriders faced Cambridge and earned the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-19 and 25-17. K. Nelms had 13 kills, two aces, and seven digs; A. Nelms had 12 kills, two aces, and six digs; Stritt had five digs; and Billeter had eight digs and 22 assists.


In the championship match, Southwest faced the hosts, McCook. McCook took set one, 27-25; Southwest took set two, 29-27; and the Bison took the third and deciding set, 25-14, and Southwest lost the match, 2-1. K. Nelms had 15 kills and 11 digs; A. Nelms had nine kills, two aces, 14 digs; Stritt had 12 digs; and Billeter had 18 digs and 24 assists.


The Roughriders are 12-1 and will host Arapahoe on Tuesday and travel to Sutherland on Saturday for a tournament.

Sutherland


The Sailors traveled to Wallace for a triangular on Tuesday with the Wildcats and Mullen.


Against Wallace, Sutherland came away with the 2-0 sweep with set scores of 25-19 and 25-19. Leah Harper had 10 kills and two aces; Kate Dyer had five kills; Addison Arvdal had five kills; Macradee Lantis had two aces and eight digs; Payten Weber had two aces and 13 digs; Jali Martinez had eight digs; and Drew Rotert had eight digs and 21 assists.


Against Mullen, the Sailors were swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-21 and 25-20. Dyer had five kills; Lantis had two aces and six digs; Martinez had eight digs; Weber had eight digs; and Rotert had six digs and 10 assists.


On Saturday, Sutherland traveled to North Platte for the NPCC Tournament.


Against Paxton, the Sailors lost the first set 25-21, won the second set 25-20, and lost the third 25-12 to lose the match, 2-1. K. Dyer had nine kills and three blocks; Keeley Dempcy had 15 digs; Weber had nine digs; Lantis had six digs; and Rotert had six digs and 15 assists.


Against Dundy County Stratton, Sutherland was swept 2-0, with set scores of 25-6 and 25-15. E. Dyer and Arvdal each had two kills; Lantis Dempcy each had four digs; and Rotert had three assists.


Against Hyannis, the Sailors snagged a 2-0 win with set scores of 25-21 and 25-18. K. Dyer had eight kills and two blocks; Harper added four aces; Lantis had five digs; Dempcy had 10 digs; and Rotert had eight digs and 15 assists.


Sutherland is now 4-10 and will travel to Cozad on Thursday for a triangular with the Haymakers and Maxwell, and will host a tournament on Saturday.



Wallace


Wallace hosted a triangular on Tuesday with Sutherland and Mullen.


Against Sutherland, Wallace was swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-19 and 25-19. No stats have been posted yet -- As soon as they are available, we will update the blog.


Against Mullen, the Wildcats were swept, 2-0, with set scores of 25-17 and 25-10. Reagan Finley had four kills; Mariana Aceves-Lopez had six digs and three assists; Maddison Gartrell had five digs; and Kaley Sauser had three assists.


On Thursday, Wallace traveled to take on Cambridge. The Wildcats were swept, 3-0, with set scores of 25-4, 25-14, and 25-19. Finley had four kills, two blocks, and 10 digs; Gartrell had six digs; Aceves-Lopez had eight digs and five assists; Briseyda Vazquez had seven digs; and Sauser had 10 digs and three assists.


Wallace hosted Elba on Friday for a duel. The Wildcats were swept, 3-0, with set scores of 25-20, 25-22, and 26-24. Finley had nine kills, two aces, and nine digs; Aceves-Lopez had two aces, 28 digs, and 10 assists; Gartrell had 14 digs; Mollie McConnell had five digs; Vazquez had 13 digs; Allyson Kemp had five digs; and Sauser had 21 digs and 10 assists.


Wallace is now 3-10 and will travel to Paxton on Tuesday for a tournament and will travel back to Paxton on Thursday for a dual.


Wauneta-Palisade

On Thursday, MHC traveled to Wauneta-Palisade. The Broncos are now 8-5 and will attend the Paxton tournament on Tuesday and the Bertrand tournament on Saturday.
