Dundy County Stratton traveled to the McCook Invite on Thursday.


Kirah Baker placed 2nd to Natalie Breinig of Southern Valley/Arapahoe by fall in 3:06 at 145 pounds. Baker is now 8-2 on the year.


BOYS

Dundy County Stratton attended the Sutherland Invite on Friday and placed 20th with 13 points.


At 175 pounds, Aiden Kane fell in the consolation semifinals to Jackson Christen of Anselmo-Merna in 1:21.

GIRLS

The Bulls traveled to the Maxwell Invite on Tuesday and placed 7th with 23 points.


At 190 pounds, Emily Robinson placed 1st, defeating all three opponents by fall.

Hi-Line attended the Southern Valley Duals Tournament on Friday. The Bulls placed 4th in the team standings.


In round one, Hitchcock County defeated Hi-Line 36-33. The Bulls picked up wins at 126 pounds from Edwards, 132 pounds from Beitler, 150 pounds from Schutz, and 157 pounds from Rupp.


In round two, Hi-Line defeated South Loup 60-11. Hi-Line got wins from Edwards at 126 pounds, Oaklund at 132 pounds, Kerznar at 144 pounds, and Rupp at 157 pounds.


In round three, Southern Valley defeated Hi-Line 45-36. The Bulls picked up wins from Bietler at 132 pounds and Scharf at 215 pounds.


In round four, the Bulls defeated Sandhills/Thedford. Hi-Line got wins from Edwards at 126 pounds, Rand at 165 pounds, and Viter at 285 pounds.


Hi-Line received a bye in the fifth round.


In round six, Hi-Line defeated Centura 66-6. The Bulls picked up wins at 150 pounds from Schutz and at 157 pounds from Redwine.


In round seven, Burwell defeated Hi-Line, 56-24. The Bulls got wins from Beitler at 132 pounds and Viter at 285 pounds.

Hitchcock County


Hitchcock County attended the Southern Valley Duals Tournament on Friday. The Falcons placed 2nd in the team standings.


In round one, Hitchcock County defeated Hi-Line, 36-33. The Falcons picked up a win at 138 pounds from Block.


In round two, the Falcons defeated Centura 60-0. Hitchcock County earned wins at 144 pounds from Block, 150 pounds from Hubl, and 157 pounds from Blake.


In round three, Hitchcock County lost to Burwell 54-24. The Falcons had wins at 165 pounds by Kollmorgan, 175 pounds by Neben, 190 pounds by Hubl, and Shuler at 215.


Hitchcock County received a bye in round four.


In round five, the Falcons defeated Sandhills/Thedford 54-6. Hitchcock County picked up wins at 132 pounds by Hare, Erickson at 175 pounds, and Loghery at 285 pounds.


In round six, Hitchcock County defeated Southern Valley 48-30. The Falcons earned wins with Hare at 132 pounds, Block at 138 pounds, Kollmorgan at 165 pounds, Neben at 175 pounds, and Hubl at 190 pounds.

GIRLS

Maxwell hosted their home invite on Tuesday and placed 8th with 22 points.


At 110 pounds, Bailey Borg placed 2nd, falling to Joselyn Alspaugh of SEM in 1:32. Ceann McIntosh placed 2nd at 120 pounds, falling to Olivia McDonald of SEM in 3:56.


BOYS

Maxwell attended the Sutherland Invite on Friday and placed 15th with 28 points.


At 195 pounds, Trevor Manka placed 2nd to Jared Perkins of Bayard by fall in 3:37. Manka improves to 16-2 on the year. At 215 pounds, Colt Gosnell fell in the consolation semifinals to Demarion Williams of Shelton in 4:35.


Medicine Valley


GIRLS


Medicine Valley traveled to the McCook Invite on Thursday.

Ame Johnson placed 3rd at 170 pounds, falling to Angelica Granay of Cozad and Cydney Carlson of Southern Valley/Arapahoe.


BOYS

Medicine Valley attended the Sutherland Invite on Friday.


Kempton Leighton fell to Jaylon Forsen of Mullen in the second round of the consolation bracket in 1:56 at 138 pounds.


Paxton


GIRLS

The Tigers traveled to the Maxwell Invite on Tuesday and placed 12th with 8.5 points.


Skylar Johnson placed 1st at 235 pounds, winning her matches by fall and tech fall. Johnson improves to 11-3 on the season.


Paxton traveled to the McCook Invite on Thursday.

Johnson placed 2nd at 190 pounds to Addison Arvdal of Sutherland by fall in 0:53.


BOYS

Paxton attended the Sutherland Invite on Friday and placed 19th with 15 points.


Colton Fote placed 3rd at 165 pounds over Parker Ryan of Kearney JV by major decision, 11-0. Fote improves to 14-4.


Southern Valley


GIRLS


Southern Valley/Arapahoe traveled to the McCook Invite on Thursday and placed 3rd with 72 points.


Laney Becker placed 1st at 110 pounds as she defeated all three opponents by fall. Becker improved to 12-1 with those three wins. At 120 pounds, Hayley Serfontein placed 1st, defeating her opponents by fall and major decision. At 145 pounds, Natalie Breinig placed 1st, defeating both opponents by fall. Cydney Carlson placed 1st at 170 pounds as she was able to pin both Angelica Granay of Cozad and Ame Johnson of Medicine Valley in under 90 seconds.

Southern Valley attended the Axtell Invite on Tuesday. The Eagles placed 6th with 109.5 points.


Bryton Stalder placed 1st over Karson Devitt of Kearney Gold JV by fall in 0:29 at 106 pounds. At 132 pounds, Carson Hamilton placed 4th to Gage Hagan of Gothenburg by fall in 2:23. At 150 pounds, Prestin Horwart placed 2nd to Maddon Gilligan of Gothenburg by fall in 1:48. At 157 pounds, Hayden Lans placed 1st over Cauy Twohig of Wilcox-Hildreth by a 16-9 decision. Keaton Broeker placed 3rd over Esteban Tovar of Lexington JV by fall in 1:40 at 190 pounds.


The Eagles hosted a Duals Tournament on Friday. Southern Valley placed 3rd in the team standings.


In round one, the Eagles defeated Centura, 64-0. Southern Valley earned wins at 144 pounds from Bantam, 150 pounds from Horwart, and 157 pounds from Lans.


Southern Valley received a second-round bye.


In round three, the Eagles defeated Hi-Line 45-36. Southern Valley earned wins at 138 pounds from Collins, 144 pounds from Bantam, 157 pounds from Horwart, 165 pounds from Lans, Broeker at 175 pounds, and Jorgenson at 190 pounds.


In round four, Southern Valley defeated South Loup 60-24. The Eagles earned wins at 144 pounds by Bantam and 157 pounds by Lans.


In round five, the Eagles lost to Burwell 69-9. Southern Valley had a win from Horwart at 150 pounds.


In round six, Southern Valley defeated Sandhills/Thedford 54-24.


In round seven, Southern Valley lost to Hitchcock County 48-30. The Eagles earned wins from Horwart at 150 pounds and Lans at 157 pounds.

At 105 pounds, Capri Sayer placed 1st, defeating Alexisis Stutzman of Sandhills Valley and Saviana Carrizales of Wauneta-Palisade by fall. Katie Fegley placed 3rd at 110 pounds, defeating Izzie Longberry of McCook by fall in 3:13. At 120 pounds, Alyssa Koch placed 2nd to Hayley Serfontein of Southern Valley/Arapahoe by fall in 1:14. Tori Hutchinson placed 3rd at 125 pounds, defeating Sophia Cunningham of Southern Valley/Arapahoe by fall in 0:53. Ashlynn Wolf placed 4th at 130 pounds falling to Ensley Lawless of Wauneta-Palisade in 0:51. Madelyn Tryon placed 1st at 235 pounds defeating her three opponents by fall to improve to 16-2.

GIRLS

The Broncos traveled to the Maxwell Invite on Tuesday and placed 6th with 30 points.


Saviana Carrizales placed 2nd to Ila Jurgens of Gibbon by fall in 0:52 at 105 pounds. At 115 pounds, Andrea Almanza placed 3rd to Annlyn Wilson of South Platte by major decision, 10-2. Ensley Lawless placed 3rd at 130 pounds over Bryanne Bayne of Maxwell by fall in 3:31.


Wauneta-Palisade traveled to the McCook Invite on Thursday and placed 5th with 36 points.


At 105 pounds, Carrizales fell to Capri Sayer of Southwest in 3:50 to place 2nd. Almanza placed 2nd at 115 pounds after losing to Abby Negley of Cozad by tech fall. Lawless placed 3rd at 130 pounds, defeating Ashlynn Wolf by fall in 0:51.
